    It just means the dedicated server where the VPS is hosted on is getting /64 IPv6, so they can only assign 1 IPv6 per server, which is usually what most people use anyway!

    Your implication being that he doesn't know all those things. He does. His argument is more simple - they can't give what they don't have. Also he's not wrong that it won't impact most people. Email reputation will suffer? Who cares, most people aren't running their own mail services. IP reputation causes you to hit more captchas only matters if you're using it as a proxy. If you're just putting up a website or some personal hosted applications most people won't notice.

    Tell that to oneprovider.com who gives 1 IPv6 per dedicated server (/128) or to colocrossing, who dont even bother giving out IPv6 IPs.

    To add on, it is never a good idea to use your server's IP as a mail server. Mail relay's exists. Use that.
