  I can't speak for everyone, but I know that I have postponed any hardware builds until things stabilize at lower price points. It's just not worth spending $500-1000 more per physical server just to lease it out for pennies on the dollar.

  Same here. I was planning to upgrade my home server but postponed that indefinitely due to "costs"...
