For every box you idle, how many push ups?
For every deal you pass on, how many up push?
I only have underutilized box. Nothing is idle.
If there's a RIPE ATLAS probe, it's not idle.
I don't mind doing more push-ups, but encoding on the laptop is taking hours, and encoding on the server is even slower at "cpulimit 30%". Ryzens and EPYCs are no good if I have to constantly worry about suspension. Minutely dedicated core is what I desire. Monthly and hourly are overkill because encoding a 5-minute push-up video should take no more than 15 minutes on a fast machine.
I'll pass on any other "deal" as they are not what I need.

Fascinating. And not trying to get off topic but what’s your standard budget for some dedicated virtual cores?

$0.002 per minute, so that I can get a push-up video done in a few pennies.
Scaleway production instance is cheaper than this but it's hourly.
My website contains almost no advertisement. It's entirely for giggles.
Evolution Host provided a free box for me (in exchange for backlinks) and they advertise dedicated cores. I'm compiling Docker images there, and haven't tried ffmpeg.
Oracle Cloud will be a free option but it's probably very slow.
I don't mind cpulimit on a shared core box but I want clarity on the acceptable percentage so that I don't have to be too conservative.
It's fine if viewers see the push-ups on the next day.

Morally I feel weird as some existing family members might feel like they got cheated.
