  • Will the discount carry over for future plan upgrades? Thanks!

  • Just a small typo (if I may): Enterprize --> Enterprise

"A single swap file or partition may be up to 128 MB in size. [...] [I]f you need 256 MB of swap, you can create two 128-MB swap partitions." (M. Welsh & L. Kaufman, Running Linux, 2e, 1996, p. 49)

I've used 7 boxes from Ant. When I'd like to use a custom iso (out of the list of many many distros seen from SolusVM), he's always willing to mount. You would not be able upload iso by yourself.

We will add any ISO you request as long as it is legal for us to do so and Windows 10 is not sorry :)

10 at node, you can burst to 10Gbit on the VPS also.

I think it's hard to burst to maximum of 10

  • Test from Frankfurt to Phoenix:

    # iperf3 --client 45.86.ccc.ddd --omit 1 --parallel 2 --time 10 --reverse

    [SUM] 0.00-10.14 sec 416 MBytes 344 Mbits/sec 0 sender
    [SUM] 0.00-10.00 sec 411 MBytes 345 Mbits/sec receiver

    It's good enough then

    iperf (multithreaded) says otherwise...

fair enough, single thread across the pond, you are right, never gonna burst that 10Gbit (with no provider). ;-) ;-)

Yeah, so bandwidth is a relative definition :) No provider gives a VPS with even 1Gbps transatlantic :)

Here is the transpacific bandwidth, testing from HostHatch Singapore:
    # iperf3 --client 45.86.209.ddd --omit 1 --parallel 2 --time 10 --reverse

    [SUM] 0.00-10.19 sec 239 MBytes 197 Mbits/sec 1341 sender
    [SUM] 0.00-10.00 sec 233 MBytes 196 Mbits/sec receiver
    iperf Done.

yeah that's simply not how networking and even physics work with that distance...
