I think I want to add some wiki pages to the YABS GitHub repo that explain -- in both a simplified way AND a more technical way -- how to interpret the test scores that result from running the script. Intention is to have three separate pages -- fio, iperf3, and Geekbench with some sample outputs and some text explaining what everything means. Possible sections for each page might be: Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF)/Exec Summary in layman's terms, what is <insert_test_name>, what does it do, why do we care, how to interpret results from the test.
Since I'm not the most educated on the topic, if anyone feels confident they can write up a solid fio/iperf3/GB + YABS guide and wants to contribute, I'd be eternally grateful for the help. Of course, whoever authors the how-to/interpretation guide, will be credited on the page for their efforts. If interested, please PM me or reply here and we'll coordinate further.

I'll gladly try and contribute, though I am actually very slooooow on writing something like that. probably best to check what I have written here or in other places regarding these things before...

Some rough notes for whoever ends up writing the Geekbench page (unfortunately I don't have time to right now):
In this document, they also define the score itself:
Geekbench 5 scores are calibrated against a baseline score of 1,000 (which is the score of a Dell Precision 3430 with a Core i3-8100 processor). Higher scores are better, with double the score indicating double the performance.

I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
may I ask why? did you ask to get it moved or just decided on another product? (afaik that's epyc there then, right?)
however, for freakin $27.5 per year I couldn't hold it anyway ... so:

I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
no, the offer in general is 55$ for two years aka biennially. I just quoted the yearly equivalent for better comparison. sorry for the confusion.
but from what I have seen you can also chose triennially for $75, so that would even bring it down to $25 a year...
Ah Greencloud.
I thought a different provider. Similar rate, different duration. Mea Culpa!!
Thx
p.s: Now I am FOMO’d

Some rough notes for whoever ends up writing the Geekbench page (unfortunately I don't have time to right now):
For Geekbench 5, their official docs are pretty good in terms of what goes into the score: http://support.primatelabs.com/kb/geekbench/interpreting-geekbench-5-scores. They also have very detailed descriptions of all the tests in this PDF: https://www.geekbench.com/doc/geekbench5-cpu-workloads.pdf
In this document, they also define the score itself:
Daniel15 | https://d.sb/. List of all my VPSes: https://d.sb/servers
dnstools.ws - DNS lookups, pings, and traceroutes from 30 locations worldwide.
AlphaVPS Epyc-2G - 3.99 EUR/month
Last bench phoenixnap SG
We had a good time together.

wow whats next?
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
That's a pretty good single core score. How much per month?
