I have 3 gsuite and all say "You are on the G Suite legacy free-of-charge edition. Consider upgrading to Google Workspace Business Starter."
There is no end date and haven't received any email
Found that 2 of my 3 accounts have the same text.
Unfortunatly the one for my family will be ”converted” to a paid alternative.
@Falzo
Got an email today regarding the second of my three accounts. Guess they are sending it out in batches.

What if I use G Suite legacy free edition for personal use?
If you’re using the G Suite legacy free edition for non-commercial purposes, you can opt out of the transition to Google Workspace by clicking here (requires a super administrator account) or going to the Google Admin console. You can continue using your custom domain with Gmail, retain access to no-cost Google services such as Google Drive and Google Meet, and keep your purchases and data.
Past 12 years we had been using the Google workspace- no cap on storage. And now…
Google has informed us that they will be implementing a change in the storage policy for Google Workspace for Education with effect from June 28, 2022.
As part of the update in storage policy Xxxx will no longer have unlimited email IDs and storage. Maximum storage available to each email account will be capped at 15GB. Therefore, we request you to transfer your important files, documents, photos etc to alternate storage and to bring down the usage to below 15GB before June 28, 2022.
Glad I have my hosthatch 2TB storage to move backup-of-backup-of-backup
To begin, Google is providing a no - cost option for individuals and families using their accounts for non-commercial purposes, if so, you can opt in to a personal no-cost option through the Google Admin Console once you were converted into a Google Workspace subscription by following this link signed as the super administrator of your account https://admin.google.com/ac/billing/legacytransition and following the on screen instructions.
You will immediately be converted to Google Workspace no-cost with 300 users
I hope they accept payment in potatoes, to give me all my mails back.
My own, personal, data.
I mean, is it all really about the money? Has it always been?
What kind of socialism do i live in???
...where companies want money in exchange for services... Sickening.
These are truly dark times, i demand to speak with a manager. And small fries with that.

Thanks for the heads up.
Just to save you from opening tickets - your accounts needs to be on Google Workspace already for that.
(Not Gsuite legacy in the product overview.)
Else, wait for the automatic transition in August if you don't want to add billing details.

Google Workspace custom domain for personal usage is great as a replacement for my Gmail.
I can use it to backup my Whatsapp and other usage as I use a native Google account.
