I remember short incident from Sirius Cybernetics, a Washington State LLC doing business in computing services then.
their client bought a 0.5vCPU dedicated server, but they provide him with 1vCPU server instead (burstable when node is idle)
days passed, servers got full and performance started going towards his promised 0.5vCPU now.

they got upset , wrote letters, posted in newspapers about how Sirius Cybernetics is 'not worth it' and how their letters 'are answered after a week or so' not understanding they were put in a difficult position ... later company decided moving them to a different node with more cpu priority as a courtesy to satisfy their needs.
It cost Sirius Cybernetics their reputation, now they duly learnt from this mistake & only deliver what is advertised.

the client was Slartibartfast , not related to this post any way.
