I started IncogNET because I believe that privacy and freedom of expression are two very important things that are under attack. More now than ever, your life is becoming less private and your speech more restricted. IncogNET offers some simple solutions to accessing and publishing content privately without us enforcing arbitrary limitations on speech that the law hasn't already.

  • We're a privacy focused provider that wishes to normalize privacy for the masses. You don't need to be a journalist, activist, whisteblower or someone with 'something to hide' to benefit from increased privacy.
  • We offer high quality, production ready services with privacy in mind.
  • We're strong supporters of freedom of speech and expression. We believe every human has the right freedom of expression and support even those who we may disagree with. Our business is apolitical, and we do not judge who should and should not be granted the right to express themselves freely. Read more about our stance on free speech: https://incognet.io/free-speech-webhosting
  • We don't require Personal Identifiable Information because we don't need it. We're not going to write you a handwritten letter on your birthday or give you a phone call on Christmas. We don't want that information, it's not required to be collected, and we simply never ask for it. All you need to place your order is an email address. Mail relays welcome.
  • We support and sponsor several pro-privacy projects. You can read more about this here: https://incognet.io/privacyprojects .
  • Aside from all of the pro-privacy features we implement, we simply run a great service, on the latest and greatest hardware on quality upstream networks.
  • We're a legal Wyoming, USA based LLC that has been in business since 2020 and growing by the month.

Does this permit downloading TV episodes from public tracker?
(assuming CPU and I/O limits are not exceeded)

Is it possible for a service transfer to another user's to WHMCS account?

Out of curiosity, what people are running on a 256MB of RAM KVM system these days? A dwindling number of currently maintained OSes can run with that little amount of RAM under KVM now.

You can run a lot, like a webserver, irc bouncer, even a small database.
CS/CSGO usually takes around 250MB to run, a bit more and you could even run a gameserver.

We still recommend using private trackers where able. Interestingly enough, the vast majority of all our DMCA complaints are related to things like ebooks.

Service transfer is possible, the other person just needs to create an account first and we can push the service to them and it will renew on the same date / interval as with the previous owner.

Wireguard, DNS, Yggdrasil Peers, Tor stuff, static websites, etc.

Check now, should be good. :) That site gets a lot of use (like https://incogtube.com) and sometimes the underlying software stack likes to bug out.

Yes! We have a small handful of Exits and Relays on our AS as shown here: https://metrics.torproject.org/rs.html#search/as:210630

Only requirement for an Exit Relay is adhering to a strict exit policy and doing proper bandwidth accounting so your allocated bandwidth is consumed over the course of the month.

Could also run a Yggdrasil Peer (https://yggdrasil-network.github.io/) or possibly even I2PD ( https://i2pd.website/ ), though we still prefer I2P+ (https://i2pplus.github.io/) though it's going to be a bit too beefy for a micro KVM server. (1024MB of RAM is likely recommended for I2P+)

Yeah I have one of these, using the 512MB RAM plan.
Tor documentation says an exit needs 1GB RAM, but it's running OK in 512MB to attain the 500 KB/s speed to be eligible for free shirt from Tor project.
My free shirt arrived last month, but it's not as nice as I hoped.

Yeah, public trackers are allowed but we'd still prefer you use private ones.

I don't go super above and beyond in advertising our DMCA status, as we're an American based business and still have to comply with lawful American based requests and because from a business perspective, it doesn't make much sense to go real hard in pushing for targeted sales to attract a lot of those users. (Resource consumption, abuse complaints, network rep, etc) That's not to say we can't cater those needs, but it's definitely not our main target market.

To put it into perspective, we get so many requests that I'm considering ignoring 100% of all email based DMCA complaints and require all DMCA takedown notices to get physically mailed to our business address.

We received one there last week, it was 'legitimate', but originated from a country that we do not do business in and a country that has no jurisdiction in the US or NL. In that situation, once we were able to actually find the customer, we just sent them the scanned copy of the 20 page document for their reference. The document should also appear in our transparency portal that I'm working on, where requests like that can be displayed, with client info redacted, to show what these organizations or lawyers request, and what our response was.

Yeah, I was hoping mine would be nicer. Are they still using the, "Use a mask, use Tor" design? Mine is just thick cotton, cheap t-shirt. Screenprinting seems alright but I've only worn it two or three times, maybe. It's a weird cut, it's wide but not long. I'm a tall dude so I usually have to order a size up just to accommodate length, but this shirt is baggier than expected.

    Yes, kind of.

We want to do it right but also realize that it's not going to be a competing product with other players. We won't have dozens of locations or some fancy app and desktop software. It'll basically be a barebones solution with some added features. It's all still very experimental at this point.

Interesting. There is some overlap there, for sure. Just tried ordering a VPN from them a couple hours ago and I never received my token via email after payment cleared. Was hoping to compare some things. I sent them an email to see if we can get it resolved.

Still no word from them. =/

I only paid for a month, so only out like $6, I guess. I may hop on their IRC this weekend and see if I can't find a staff member to nudge about it.
