I should install PBS and take backups in a storage VPS outside my network.

Let me know if you see a good deal please. My servers are in the US, so that's the preferred location, but I think EU would be fine.

    @crunchbits sometimes has storage VPSs in stock - 4tb for $12
    Had a quick look and they look out of stock at the moment although support has sorted me out with one before when they were out of stock

    Interservers also has 4TB for $10 if you can work with a non-vps environment, they support SFTP and rsync and what not - https://www.interserver.net/storage/

    Layer7 also has VPSes with addon disks in France and Germany, though they're more expensive.

    I picked these plans according to my (very) rough idea of the Proxmox Backup server system requirements.

    Just in case, they have both smaller (like 2 / 2 / 3.5 or 3 / 3 / 3) and larger offers.

    I got one server with 5TB of storage from him available for transfer because I don't use it anymore. If you want I can give it to you.
