Personally I consider it a new low for LES when a member posts a LEB link for a bunch of Buffalo colo-crossing hosts in a NY VPS request thread. @gaithads please consider sticking to monthly payments when considering some of the hosts from that lin…

It was discussed before the article was published and since it is CGNAT should not be an issue.

Congratulations to all the winners !! A big thank you to @crunchbits for another great offer and giveaway thread. :+1: :+1:

(Quote) When a mjj has multiple groups of three particularly good flash deals, when it was hard to get even one for most people, I would expect that there was a previous multi account or scalper issue with this customer. Personally I would stay awa…

All good here for my VM on NYCB045 as well now. Thank you Qi. :)

(Quote) LOL. You seem to be in good humor tonight. Or is that just me misinterpreting your lack of sleep, and excess caffeine intake ?

(Quote) This sounds like it would be a big plus for you. Truth be told I was picking up some weird routing with DediPath Dallas that was making other providers in Dallas 20 to 30 ms faster then my VMs with you in Dallas. I'm good with OKC as I expe…

Once again a great article <3. In each of your articles I learn at least one thing I did not know before. Thank you for the time and effort you put in to make this happen. I mainly run AlmaLinux 8 these days and run a cron job once a month. …

@root I really enjoyed your posts during this event. I hope you win what your much needed graphics card.

(Quote) You Dallas VPS is probably in NYC now. After you get the timeout in the billing panel, go to the left menu and click "management". This should open a larger left side menu. Click "Full VPS control panel" this should ta…

(Quote) I expect you know it is going to take a one time special ehab deal to get @ehab. Quantity limit 1.

@titus see my comment here. If it applies to you, VirMach is aware, see his comment here.

@VirMach I noticed what appears to be an inconsistency on your web site for Premium Ryzen VPS, on this page, I have marked the inconsistency on this screenshot. I expect it is not a high priority right now, but I figured you might want to know abou…

As far as I know the current migrations are due to the Dedipath closure. The Tampa (Hivelocity) and Chicago DC1 (Quadranet) and Chicago DC2 (Hivelocity) were unaffected by the Dedipath closure.

I just saw this on the OGF and though it might be of interest to VirMach and others. (Quote)

(Quote) When you go into solusVM does it show a blank under "Operating System" on the first page ? Does it give you an "Authentication failed" error message when you try to use VNC ? If so, you are not alone. What nodes are yo…

(Quote) Interesting, I also get "Authentication failed", both before and after changing the password for VNC, for my broken migrated VM on NYCB45. This seems to be effecting more than just a couple of VMs so I would expect that the VirMac…

(Quote) Just remember that we like you, even when you might not like yourself. :) I have no issue with what you said , and honestly thought I was the one missing something. Of course getting some sleep is never a bad thing, given that you have bee…

(Quote) A few comments up I said... (Quote) The VirMach comments that I linked to were interpreted by me as saying that Dallas is not going to be a VirMach location, at least in the near term, and it was unknown if that location would come back in …

(Quote) Does it show an O/S in solusVM, or just the billing panel ?
-
(Quote) LOL, exactly.

The node may. or may not, be up, but from what I understand there is no network, so the controls from the panel will not work. EDIT: According to the status page DALZ007 is/was in the process of being migrated as of yesterday to NYC. So you're pro…

(Quote) Thank you. That is a good thing to know.

(Quote) I agree it is a great panel from a users perspective. Can't say if it is the same from the providers perspective or not. Personally I do prefer it when a potential KVM VM I am looking to purchase has a /64 of IPv6. OpenVZ 7 has limitation…

@soulchief @ricANNArdo I also have a couple of VMs that were migrated from Dallas that are in this same situation on NYCB45 & NYCB013. One thing that I have noticed in the past, but I am not totally sure that it would apply with these migratio…

@yoursunny asking what a provider does regarding IPv6 in an offer thread is one thing. Telling them how they should do IPv6 in an offer thread is another. If you have strong feeling about how IPv6 should be done within the LES provider community p…

Not a LES exclusive offer, but within standard offer pricing rules so I am just moving it into "Offers".

(Quote) Thank you for the followup. All the above makes complete sense to me. Have a good flight.
