I have closed the original LES Exclusive Offer thread as it is not public and moved all comments related to the deadpool of NVMeNetworks to this thread. This provider did not contact me, even though I made multiple requests for him to do so. I exp…

(Quote) Do you like Planka more than KanBoard ?

Kudos @vitobotta for starting this really good thread.

(Quote) Thank you for letting us know that TYOC007 is back up. Since when I get that "no bootable disk error" I normally turn the VM off, and sometimes am a little late noticing when it come back up.

(Quote) IPv6 is not being assigned currently. I would wait until VirMach says that they are going to start assigning IPv6 again before I made any more tickets.

(Quote) FrankZ turns off his phone, just in case.

(Quote) This AP wire story just in.... FrankZ to blame for the war in Ukraine, climate change, and world wide inflation.

Are any VMs back up yet or are all VMs still down ? If anyone has a VM up please let me know CPU model.

(Quote) TYOC040.appears to have been down for about four days as of now. It's on the VirMach status page as having reoccurring issues.
-
(Quote) Yep it is down for me as well with the same "no bootable device" issue. Status page shows "TYOC007 - Broken reinstalls pending" so I expect we are waiting on DC hands.

Has anybody bought this on anything other than a monthly term ?

For those of you that received IPv4 change notifications for node NYCB036 the new IPs may be routing now. Mine is working so I have changed over to the new gateway IP and removed the old IP from my network config.

(Quote) You're good I am not on SEAZ006 or SEAZ007.

(Quote) I was just funning with you about the yabs. What node are you on in Seattle? I am on most nodes in Seattle so before you break my stuff .... I informed him of the method I used when asked to try and break the testing node (AMSD030X), it w…

(Quote) I started doing more pushups last year on Valentine's Day based on your prompting and kept on doing them afterwards everyday. I went from 60 a day on Feb 14th 2022, up to 100 a day by years end. Ended up doing more than 20,000 pushups…

(Quote) Just a copy/paste from my past VM list. I always write "RYZEN" in caps because it just does not look right as "Ryzen". Apologies if I negatively affected any of your sensitivities. (insert evil laugh gif from ab…

(Quote) (Image) --- @VirMach I am sure @fan will be happy to hear that the disk dropped off line and that his lvm is more than likely fine. I did not realize that the disk issue that we were able to recreate when testing AMSD030X was an ongoing…

(Quote) My VM on node PHXZ001 is working fine, so I expect it is not a node issue.
-
(Quote) Not necessarily the whole disk, but your lvm is obviously knackered. Not 100% sure that it applies to your case, but I've had this happen before. Normally VirMach will automatically fix it within a ~couple of weeks. One sign that it h…

(Quote) Link fixed. :) Really glad to see @exception0x876 making an offer thread here at LES. I have always really liked this provider.
-
(Quote) "Locked" means the node is under maintenance. It is locked so that clients do not try to do things that will break their VM, or cause problems with the maintenance being done on the node.

I got all happy about this and then saw that the cancel for prorated refund button does not apply to the Tokyo storage VMs. :anguished: Oh well, back to plan A.

(Quote) EDIT: I am caught up now. The exception to the "Don't be a Dick" rule requested above is denied, but there is no rule against being an asshat. For the rest of it @MichaelCee has been in this thread, and I have not, so I don…

(Quote) Yes, there is a ban appeal option in the help desk, but what would be your reasoning for banning someone who is not here ?
-
(Quote) Not banned or retired because if he did want to put in an appearance and comment he could not if he was banned or retired. Of course he no longer has a provider tag or is on the LES provider list. I don't think anyone knows what all th…

@msatt glad you got it to work the easy way. @yoursunny does normally make good suggestions. Now I should go look at doing the same thing on mxroute. :)
-
(Quote) I am not as familiar with doing the setup inside of mxroute as @yoursunny so I will defer to him on setting things up inside of mxroute. If you are going to setup opendkim on each sending server then you can relay all three VMs directly thr…
-
(Quote) If you are relaying through mxroute, I don't think they are going to attach a dkim record to the outgoing email. Do you see a dkim record in the header of the email you sent to gmail ? If so then you need to set up the dkim TXT DNS reco…

(Quote) I would expect that many folks (like me) would just go for a recreate on another node in whatever location you thought was stable and had space. That would minimize the VMs that would need to be migrated from this unstable node and should s…

(Quote) I would not say it is improving over the last couple of weeks. DALZ008 last 14 days: Uptime: 7 hour 9 minutes - Downtime: 13 days, 16 hours, 51 minutes Down: 1/29/2023 22:34Up: 2/08/2023 11:13Down: 2/08/2023 18:22

(Quote) Seems it might be a larger network issue as I am not able to connect to both my VMs in Phoenix on PHXZ001 and PHXZ003. https://status.virm.ac/ shows all Phoenix Nodes as down, so it is a larger issue. EDIT: Network is up again. Total down t…
