Looks good. Easy to get around and find what I was looking for. 💯

(Quote) No, I don't think you should do that. I expect that will only create more issues. As I understand it, the LVM (virtual disk) assigned to your VM has stopped being seen by the hypervisor. An analogy would be when a disk drops off on a dedic…

(Quote) Chicago network was up for a little bit yesterday, but then went unavailable again after a short time. My VM on CHIZ003 is still not accessible at this time. No official update from VirMach since May 18th. I have no inside information,…

(Quote) @qps does not work for VirMach. He is quickpacket.com and was talking to VirMach about co-lo.

@somik said: (Quote) Which two or three people here do you expect are employees of VirMach ?

(Quote) Of course the answer to that question is 42.

@tang_cn - I definitely understood that the title was tongue in cheek humor after opening the thread, although given the vast variety of members here at LES it is unlikely that everyone will take it that way. I appreciate the time you took to write…

Thank you @skorous for the offer, but I think I am just going to pick one up in New York. (Quote) Sounds like a beast. I hope it will be one of my favorites too. Any chance you are going to run a "post your order number for double RAM" o…

For a home to VPS VPN tunnel I personally have found tinc to be the most resilient. If it drops it will automatically reconnect. I have a very low speed internet connection at home so I can't say how tinc would work regarding throughput.

@theloafingone - I am happy that it worked out well and you were able to get your VM going !! Thank you for the yabs as I am trying to decide where to buy my new storage server, Los Angeles or New York, and seeing that helped me out. Does anyone ha…

skorous - Good to see that you are picking up the slack while the Skint one is on hiatus. :)

@JBB - You're not alone as it seems that all of Chicago DC #1 (CHIZ001, CHIZ002, CHIZ003, CHIZ004) has dropped. I'm on CHIZ003 and am getting the same "Operation Timed Out ..." error as you are. I expect it may be a DC network issue, or…

(Quote) That will be the day. :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy: @Flying_Chinaman - It is VirBot's day job to fix things like this.

(Quote) Good to know. I expect the problem is probably on my end.

@theloafingone - I expect it was delivered without an O/S installed. With a 4TB VM I would install from an ISO so as to make at least three partitions, one for boot, one for the O/S, and one for data. You can do this by going to the billing panel…

@theloafingone - I get a "the image can not be displayed because it contains errors" error when trying to view the image you posted so I can't really see what you are talking about.

(Quote) If it shows something like "No boot device available" in VNC, do not reinstall the operating system. This thing has happened to me before. It will get fixed automatically by VirMach if you do not reinstall, otherwise IIRC it need…

(Quote) Good catch, I am sure that folks on that node will be happier after I leave. :) Actually the disk tests only runs every 6 hours, I will edit the OP to reflect that.

(Quote) As far as I know there is only one storage node currently available in Tokyo, TYOC002S.

(Quote) Yes, they were offered as a pre-order and were delivered in July 2022. ----- (Quote) Thank you for the suggestion. I don't think I want to take the abuse that I would get on the OGF trying to transfer a VirMach VM. I just wanted to see …

Anybody want a Tokyo storage VM ? Specs are 1 core 5950X, 1.5GB RAM, 465 GiB Disk, 6 TB transfer, $40 per 2 years, expires July 4th, 2024. Last I heard VirMach was sold out in Tokyo so figured I would ask before I migrate it to a USA location. Ed…

(Quote) Hi netomx 👋 Your comment took me back to when Anthony used this site to provide support for Inception Hosting's NAT VPS services. So there is some tradition with LowEndSpirt being a support forum. That being said this thread is not in any w…

(Quote) I have a VM on this node and was seeing high wait state there for a little while, which appears to be resolved, and it seemed fine now. Edit 16:27: Now the load, and wait state, is going back up. Status page shows 100% CPU and a 200+ loa…

Hello @VirMach. When you have a moment could you let us know what is going on with SEAZ002. It seems down to me, and has not reported to the status page in a while. Billing panel give the "Operation Timed Out After 90001 Milliseconds With 0 By…
