You could look into LibreNMS which works pretty well, uses snmp to monitor your system, automatically creates up the graphs for the most common items like network usage, CPU usage, RAM usage, disk I/O etc

(Quote) Aha -- did you try it by chance? It seems pretty interesting, they allow you to set the location of your Logs as well (US/EU/CH) which is pretty cool.

Found this on twitter under the post (I think an ad?), seems pretty interesting, nice UI and everything, https://nextdns.io/

anyone looking for a demo can try http://techtablets.com/ -- it's a tab/laptop review website and I always get that captcha when visiting them.

On a recent LinusTechTips video they had a very very similar scenario (good/high speed internet + low latency to their machines), and came around to using https://parsecgaming.com/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B821HqH-dWI haven't used it m…

Mikrotik just (or soon) is launching a 24/48 port switch which seems to be looking interesting, https://www.servethehome.com/new-mikrotik-crs-10gbe-and-40gbe-switches-for-2019/

(Quote) oh wow this is neat, they have a NVMe adapter too. I wonder now where to find a nice and sleek 2-4 Disk NAS enclosure, I did find this on Aliexpress, which seems decent-ish https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33038670915.html

(Quote) That is pretty neat, even if the speed is halved (say for 2 disks over the USB), seems to be pretty usable. Any idea how well it could handle software raid1 by chance?

(Quote) The SSD was connected via the USB Port right (ie, via an external SATA->USB converter) ?

is netfilter set to full for this container ? vzctl set VMID --netfilter full --save

Any good ARM based SBC which does 2x HDD/SSD support? Looking for something like a NAS for home. Closest I've seen is the Odroid HC-2 but that does only 1 Disk.

(Quote) bingo, pretty much want to keep it as a side-project with least work/time going into it, just wish at times the .cm domain was cheaper.. wayy cheaper.

If you are interested in something that isn't imgur for images, I run https://drop.cm/ as a side-hobby, and wouldn't mind some usage of it :) EDIT: If someone wants to connect ShareX to it, that's possible aswell, https://drop.cm/Dro…

(Quote) wha.... thats an amazing deal, my NordVPN expired early this year and didn't renew/look for a new once since I didn't use it much, but for $12 for 5 years that's just unbeatable. Link for anyone looking for it as well: https:…
