(Quote) The first time he told me it was an issue on their side, the other times I didn't ask. But it seemed to be "just" IP connectivity as the VM itself was up. But the control panel was also unable to connect to it.

(Quote) All network outages I had weren't listed there.

(Quote) It seemed to be a network issue again which was gone after 30min.

And it's down again. Hopefully layer7 will get some capacity at the end of the month or I'll find a KS-LE

I'm having a "EPIC-EPYC Anniversary" with additional 1TB HDD since April, using it for Immich/Opencloud etc. Mostly it runs fine, had a network outage about 1h 20min end of June, 40min some weeks ago and from last sunday the load on t…

Because their old support mail address went away and now they have some help center. But I'll ask there now.

Yes, but this doesn't explain the difference regarding the current consumption.

(Quote) No, I even send mail via a Hetzner VPS.

(Quote) That was just a joke as people here and on the OGF don't understand Netcups ToS, they just think not paying any more would cancel the service.
-
Don't use netcup. If your ISO would load correctly, your contract extends automatically for 3 years, as we have mean contracts in Germany.

(Quote) They even provide docs for using Arq (https://storj.dev/dcs/third-party-tools/arq) - somehow stupid that youget issues with the request rate. I've moved my b2 restic repos now to storj, let's see how it fits.

Any plans for VPS in Hamburg? ;)

(Quote) He should be suspended for running "df -h".

(Quote) Using SSH is abusing the network connection!

@host_c I meant it cannot be changed for an existing service.
-
(Quote) Seems not to be possible, I cannot add any addon, at least at the "configurable options" page.

For Matrix as a server, you can also use conduit or conduwuit, which is much more lightweight then synapse.
-
Where do they host their stuff? app.koofr.com points to Hetzner FSN.

The end is brr.

With a pool of 768 IPv4 and IPv6 addresses 765 IPv4 and 3 IPv6 addresses? This is not many.

(Quote) Unfortunately the weathermap says: no weather today ;)

Netcup has also DTAG transit via Anexia.

(Quote) Yeah, I read it and thought I should add redis to my backups. PostgreSQL seems too slow on my box. Fortunately since 1.1.0 the client backups metadata also to the repo every hour.

Thanks for the hint on juicefs. I used gocryptfs on a storagebox with sshfs before, which made a lot of overhead. @flo82 Any experience which is best for metadata?

At the moment: Hetzner Storage Box via SSHFS in a CCX13. Thinking about switching to a php-friends box on BF, would need some storage for Nextcloud. php-friends could give 500 GB NFS/SMB storage, an alternative would be e2 via s3fs or goofys. The la…

I tried to order one, but can't login into the CP: account closed. But I also can't create a new one, as an account with the email already exists.

According to the reports section, 1,093.0 GB avg GB is stored in October. So I thought it's already calculated and the estimated egress fees would refer to it.

Got a reply from the support: (Quote) Ok, that's still confusing I think.

Glad I switched my backup box to @alwyzon

Same here with storage, but seems up again.
