After the initial issues with IP address changing multiple times and possible node change (did not check what my original node was), now that all that has settled. I am very happy with the service I have here and I will be keeping it for some time.

I got my lifetime account some time ago, I also have a pCloud one, I prefer Koofr over that for speed, but the one thing I dont like, is the app does not have a real sync progress screen with speed or anything like that, but I do like the free rclon…

(Quote) reinstall via the Full VPS Control Panel, there is no limit on that.

(Quote) I got new ones on both of my ATL boxes, one is a Alibaba subnet, the other is a D-Digital LLC @VirMach, just out of curiosity, you mentioned that ARIN or RIPE (forget what one) offered you a free block of IP address if you supplied your cus…

(Quote) since this is a Windows only issue, and support on flash sales are extremely limited to basically hardware failures only and a reinstall should fix this. if VirMach is to fix this, it would require priority support at a fee

(Quote) if you are booting a windows ISO, you need to "press any key to boot from CD" in VNC, otherwise in a few seconds it will boot HDD again and give you an error. you may need to ctrl+alt+del to reboot again and quickly press it next b…

NYCB028 IP routing is back online :)

(Quote) same node, same issue :)

as I cannot edit the above, the gateway and netmask is correct. had to manually configure an on-link in netplan, and a custom initramfs script to run before dropbear to configure the network to work with this configuration, but all is fixed for now.

(Quote) best off using a email provider for your sending, automatic retries, sending reports, I use AWS for my small site and it costs me like $0.15-0.20 a month

two IP changes in a matter of a week. no email notification about either edit: new IP given on panel, subnet of 255.255.255.255 and gateway of 192.168.0.1 >.> still no dhcp assignment. no announcement on their panel. no emails.

(Quote) sorry, I seen this notice, and figured it was just bandwidth issues, and skipped the part for the change of IP, as there is no DHCP assignment it means having to reconfigure the system completely, but I have got it working again now as I hav…

ATLZ009 is back :)

(Quote) I have a VPS on ATLZ006 and ATLZ009, 9 is unreachable from the outside, 6 is reachable, and it can also connect to 9 from 6. so it seems they have been null routed for sure, I wonder who downloaded a 10GB iso file at speeds greater than 100m…

the only way you'll be able to have an incoming port while on CG-NAT is to use a VPN that allows for forwarding, or setup your own VPN on a VPS and have them forwarded only without outgoing NAT (Oracle Cloud Free-tier more than enough)
-
(Quote) mine was included in the activation, thank you for your time :)

he wants $1 or $2 a year deals, just give him one without any ip, not even nat.
-
@taopi it is so nice that you have worked out how to use the edit button.

(Quote) check out https://purelymail.com using their advanced plan, I am paying like $0.60 per month using 3GB storage for my incoming email on my own domain. I use a virmach vps for aliasing with AnonAddy self-hosted, forwarding to my purelymail a…
