(Quote) You don't need to prove anything. Don't take a lot of what is said (wherever) personally. Half of it is in jest, the other half is in envy - either way mostly ignorable crap. Welcome, take a break from your admin role and just be a normal d…

(Quote) I assume that you are NOT implying anything about the pioneers who trusted you very early with their valuables data. Those are to be pried out of one's cold dead hands I suppose.

(Quote) You mean you're cancelling all the scheduled benchmarking activities?

Can anyone clarify if these VMs use any form of RAID (for NVMe drives)? I vaguely recollect that once upon a time RAID was standard and then something happened and now it's pretty much RAID0 / no redundancy.

Here's the official Lets Encrypt post: https://letsencrypt.org/2025/01/22/ending-expiration-emails/ From the above there a link to Red Sift Certificates Lite (formerly Hardenize). Red Sift’s monitoring service providing expiration emails is free o…

(Quote) Oh no. There goes yet another day (or night) without sleep (and I have to figure out how to hide that CC from myself). On a related note, y'all have any coupons that were maybe overlooked? Or maybe something to convert an existing one time …

(Quote) Of course that will be nice as well (not sure on the affordability). I was also going towards something like a 2 vCPU/ 4GB RAM / 120GB NVMe / 2+ TB HDD (etc.) That 120GB NVMe gets split into roughly 20GB for the OS and remaining 100GB for …

(Quote) That's already the case. (Quote) I like to have performance even for my private network NAS.

(Quote) One opinion/ask (based on your 30TB NVMe availability post...) It'll be nice to have a storage VM with a decent size NVMe for some caching. That will absolutely blast the storage yabs into the stratosphere. I'm not sure if the NVMe's are a…
