It's weird. My NY vps that was on one of the nodes being migrated is now on Ryzen but my IP didn't change so I can't communicate with anything. Pinging some random local IPs it appears that I'm not alone either ....
-
How big is it supposed to be? It looks like it's 80gig.
-
(Quote) That would be unfortunate though understandable.
-
(Quote) I have some document management items and some family photos.
-
(Quote) You have been lucky. I've had two of my VPN providers die - liquidvpn and proxy.sh - and one of my smartdns providers.
-
(Quote) Oh man ... I totally couldn't be trusted with that. :D
-
(Quote) So that's a no then?
-
(Quote) So you've tried their non-LET plans and their support is just as bad?
-
(Quote) No, but your lesson is definitely different than Virmach's and likely a harder one to learn
-
(Quote) Wait, so you ordered a service which says putting in tickets without following the proper process will cause your renewal price to get increased, then put in four tickets, and you're confused why your renewal got increased?
-
(Quote) Just for reference, you don't have to "find" the order number. When you pay it puts it right there on the screen for you.
-
(Quote) In no way blaming the victim but if I put that in I would've explicitly said which I wanted deleted. Something important and irrevocable you don't want any room for misunderstandings.
-
(Quote) And you know what they say when you assume. That does suck though. Hope it gets straightened out for you.
-
(Quote) Entirely possible I'm thinking of the OGF. Can always wait and see but I'm pretty sure that's right.
-
(Quote) I don't work for Virmach but previous answers in the thread to this question have been 'no'.
-
(Quote) You might do better from an iso as it doesn't need to buffer all the packages, etc....
-
(Quote) See I would have taken the message as "just be patient" but you do you.
-
(Quote) and (Quote) and (Quote) Virmach spoke to this on the previous page. It's going to slow down your activation - possibly significantly. I quoted it below ( emphasis mine, not his ). (Quote)
-
(Quote) and (Quote) You guys might consider reading the entire thread but especially the first post which describes what you've agreed to.
-
(Quote) I actually understand this one. They never see the page with the instructions on it because they're following an affiliate link which takes them straight to the final page. So everything looks legit - right website, etc... - they just don't …
-
(Quote) He's asking for an example aff link like you posted earlier. Pull one from hostloc to show him? EDIT: typo
-
(Quote) Congratulations? I'm sure you'll be very happy with it? What are you looking for here?
-
(Quote) > (Quote) Okay, to be fair, buying through a completely unknown rando affiliate link is probably not a Good Plan (tm) either. You can protect yourself by just not doing this. You truly are equally at fault ( just my opinion ).
-
(Quote) FWIW, I agree with you. Anyone posting aff links to the sale should have their accounts banned. They are the ones really causing the problem.
-
(Quote) He's already working on it. I mentioned it to him earlier.
-
One more time?
-
(Quote) I hope I can do this without starting the whole thing over again. I don't know if the above was directed towards me but if it was, then I sincerely apologize you took my comment as an insult to your intelligence. You seem a reasonable fellow…
-
(Quote) Since I commented earlier that it worked for me, I wanted to add that I was on the 4gig plan.
-
(Quote) I also am glad to hear this. You're my primary data location for my mother's Plex service. Man, that'd get ugly.
-
(Quote) Booted the Alma 8.5 iso on my box in Denver to a graphical install just fine just FWIW. Didn't try netboot.xyz.
-
(Quote) Haven't had a problem so far this weekend. Just logged in and poked around to be sure nothing had changed.
-
8T Tank, yeah. Mirror my 10T from HH off-site in case of problem.
-
(Quote) I personally would expect this to be okay. It's "requested-adjacent". They needed activation and just included every bit of information they had. ;-)
-
Thanks for this. Picked one up to try it.

\o/ Denver is online! Not sure if I need to post my order number or not still for activation so .....8284726201. Double my bandwidth? :-)
