Nice offer, though the discount on performance server (5%) didn't convinced me for this upgrade (is the core dedicated btw?). The regular vps should be good for my needs, still. Is there, as next upgrade maybe, planned to offer 10Gbits?
-
(Quote) Do you have an upgrade policy?
-
Only NL or UK as well? I prefer your UK location somehow.

(Quote) Wow.. over $10 per month for hosting a website. How did you end up here? Even $10 per year (not month) is too much for many. If they're having special offers making their prices slightly more temping, please post them here. Since we…

Are there plans to bring back the 1GB RAM package with SSD storage?
-
I like btrfs. The snapshots are handy and it has been just as stable as ext4 in the last two years for me.
-
(Quote) CPU upgrades to be expected soon (for new plans ofc)?
-
Why not Joomla? Lots of extensions available and quite easy to create your own (like with Wordpress).

(Quote) 1) yes, this is indeed an issue but can be fixed by manually editing the view 2) only two brackets need to be changed, then it's working again. It can be fixed by manually editing the includes/function.php#L27 (curly to square brackets…

(Quote) I hope I'm allowed to share the link to the other forum but it was released here: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/99120/vps-server-inventory-system

Nice project to create a more up to date version for server monitoring but for now I still prefer https://github.com/seikan/NodeList which just looks nicer.

Just 50%.. :unamused:

(Quote) Yes, you're right, I mixed it up. The bench was posted in a thread where you replied as well but that was not related to your services. Sorry

May you tell us which processors are in use? We can find a E5-2680 v4 here but I can remember to have also seen a E5-2680 v2.
-
(Quote) What about openSUSE?

(Quote) Thanks for your answer. I'll just wait for the next offer, there are still a couple days to go. Actually, I'm looking forward to some high clock CPU offers (either ryzen or better more modern Intel cpu).

Can we upgrade later?

Is something like 1x Ryzen, 2-4GB RAM, 20GB Disk planned?

(Quote) Year ago, not working any longer. Actually, their bf deal with a dedi IP has been a proper replacement imo. I don't know what a dedi IP could be good for, however, considering the price of an entry plan and the price of the IP, it might…

(Quote) Ahh wait, it's routed via sgb, gra or rbx in either case? the ovh map shows direct routes but real path is through these?
-
Anybody knows about their performance in their london and us-east locations? I remember ovh had terrible routing to both places, is it still so?
-
@Andrei do we have some winners already?
-
Netherlands only or Switzerland too? Ohh and we need other processor than Intel Xeon E5 2430L V2..
-
Just wonder why it's sometimes saying: (Quote) And sometimes: (Quote) Isn't it the same processor?
-
(Quote) wtf why can you change it to Chinese lang and not something cool? xD
-
Free software along these offers (also storage yearly)?
-
Only one kind of processor? And which DC? And own equippment or rented?
-
A flash sale by @liteserver with 2 Cores, 6GB RAM and 50GB NVMe would come just right.
-
(Quote) or @Dream ? Only found this of @RapToN : 1x Intel Xeon E5 2430L V2 4GB RAM 40GB SSD Netherlands 29,99€/y
-
Do you have smaller systems (around 20€/m) too? Would be tempted but don't need that many resources. 4C, 16Gig and one or two drives with 100GB would be good to go.
-
(Quote) They're still one of the better providers imo. Unfortunately they don't do 50% as they used at Easter. Actually expected this for today.
-
(Quote) Either this or once it's working they make it a paid service. As usual.. :/
-
I don't see much difference between both communities. Similar people, almost same offers and instead complaining about a provider it's about let.
-
Just 2GHz base clock? They're taking every chance to change to the worse, yet.
-
(Quote) Pretty much the only thing making the offer worth it imo. If you want it really decent, go with their G3 for +2,50€/M.
-
(Quote) Different term (3 month, not 1), worse CPU and much worse i/o. Similar good network and support responsiveness. And ofc the price is lower. ;)
