Company is one-(wo)man? CVE-2026-99999 is patched? Suspend or throttle if exceeding CPU and I/O fair use? Memory is ballooned? Bandwidth counted both directions or only egress on metered services?

(Quote) It doesn't matter where the operator will use the VPS. It matters where the readers will access the website hosted on the VPS.

(Quote) Our VirMach invoice is $0.00/month. Half the price would be $0. or $00 — both are acceptable. NVMe2G for life!

Can each user get a widget that shows how many downvotes they received from how many unique users in past 30 days? This allows a user to assess how far they are from the suspension hammer. Can each user get a webpage that shows which posts are rece…

(Quote) Go to one of your servers and run: tcpdump -pni eth0 icmp Then run a ping test from one of the TierHive locations. You can then see the TierHive IP address.

Downvoted due to lack of IPv6 answers and YABS report. Try again when you have the answers.

We don’t buy C-Servers unless it’s the 99-year plan.

We wanna vibe a script to verify a routed IPv6 subnet is actually routed. The VPS streams its tcpdump of ICMPv6 traffic to our validation service, while the validation service pings random addresses within the VPS subnet. Based on whether the tcpdum…

We are reading the Recipes section. Is there a way to see the actual commands in a recipe before deploying it? It's good practice to audit code before running.

(Quote) Sigh, every device made in Hong Kong never seems to get Android updates ever. Whatever version they’re released with, is the version they’ll stay on when they die. A device is considered dead when its battery is twice the size.

(Quote) Many providers do have "KYC possible" in ToS, but then: * Most customers believe KYC shouldn't be added if the payment was accepted and VPS was created. * Most customers don't read ToS before handing over their $7/year. …

(Quote) You do not currently have a subnet allocated. This may be because one was never allocated during sign up while we awaited a credit top up, or it was reclaimed after being idle or unused for a long period of time. 💔 Here goes our low-numbere…

(Quote) From other reports, the client is unable to open tickets. The ability to open tickets and obtain support is part of the service. Hence, we won't call this situation as "able to keep access to services".

We currently have over 3000 karma If we spend 1000 on the last Flan, we would be 1000 closer to the ban. Hence, we have to resist the urge of buying the Flan.
