Mentally strong people put each KVM in a separate VLAN. Each IPv4 /32 or IPv6 /56 is individually routed to the VLAN. Gateway address is a link-local address, for both IPv4 and IPv6. IP stealing is impossible and no IP is wasted for gateway.
