I noticed that the system clock was quite a bit off, so I installed `systemd-timesyncd` to keep it in sync via NTP now.

Running cpuid in a Linux VM on that machine I get:

I think I managed to extract the NetBSD kernel panic now. This is possible by using grub2 to read the memory where NetBSD formats the panic string. Essentially, what you need to do is look at either …
