I risked the lifetime (or "lifetime" LOL) Crypt licence at 100 euros. Colour me wasteful. Will see how it fares (along with the pCloud storage itself). So far so good.

Used the 500GB lifetime for like ~3 years and recently upgraded to 2,5TB after moving my photo collection (195.000 photos/videos) from Amazon Photos Unlimited and Google Photos to pCloud.

As far as I can tell, MXroute did the opposite in terms of marketing and lifetime plan selling.
