I do not run docker on the host level on proxmox. I always create a VM and install docker on that. I think that it makes the proxmox node safet, but not sure if that line of thinking is correct...

It's probably better/safer your way, however, these scripts are often shared among the MyDealz Homeserver communityb(non-public facing homeservers). It definitely looks nice.
