Which Office software do you use?

Microsoft Office
LibreOffice
ONLYOFFICE
Softmaker Office
WPS Office

Another Office software package? (Which?)

And why did you choose what you did? (Technical superiority; lower cost; open source; something else.)

    Why?

Did you try any of the others?

If you want information, feign ignorance reply with the wrong answer. Internet people will correct you ASAP!
It’s OK if you disagree with me. I can’t force you to be right!

Onlyoffice - because it is FOSS (without being crappy LOL) and, unlike Libreoffice, doesn't break MS Office documment layout (99% of the folks in Serbia are using MS Office so that's what I deal with). It also loads faster than Libreoffice on my computers.

  • Honestly, I'm still using MS Office (365, copilot, whatever tf branding it has these days). I really, really want to switch, but every time I've tried in the past, it literally only takes a few documents for the formatting not to properly openable for someone using MS apps (which I will always have colleagues using). Hell, even the online-only versions of Microsoft's apps don't even properly maintain formatting with the desktop versions. It's been a couple years since I last tried, so maybe it's gotten better, but it's not for lack of wanting to change.

Which alternative Office software have you tried, in the past, to replace your Microsoft Office with?

  • Wps office. I bought a pro license for 9.9 USD per year, I installed in all of my devices without any limited.

  • Does groff count as office software?
