i have some business desktops coming off lease in the next month and i'm wondering if it will be worth it for me to host these desktops. Please let me know your thoughts and what you think a good price point would be.

    the specs are in the poll, it's a bunch of i5 6th gen desktops

    oh and they all have a license of win 11 pro so i guess that would come with the rental if you wanted it.

    my bad, I'm hosting in houston texas with ATT business fiber. I'm just doing monthly plans for now to keep it simple. it's a shared 1gbit uplink. i'm also only accepting paypal for payment.

    4cores, 16gb ddr4, 500gb ssd, 1xipv4 and 1xipv6

    yah thats what I'm trying to figure out since they are older and not very power efficent. thank you for your feedback.

    From other threads of providers talking about long-term sustainability, what's your plan in case some of these die? Just refund the client and move on with one fewer node, or do you plan on buying replacements?

    I would keep some as spare parts but long term I would just phase them out as they start dying.

    Probably just accept failure I guess, no one is going to take these assuming enterprise grade :)
