Over the years I’ve personally rented more than 400 VPS instances, most of them from small and mid-sized hosting providers run by Chinese operators. I’d like to join LES to learn about providers outside the Chinese-speaking community, compare notes with people here, and share my own test results and experiences in return.

separate thing, been playing on x ai grokbot on a diff box. threw yabs at it for fun, gb6 came back around 1683 single and 8181 multi. disk side overlay fio was alright, 600mb/s+ on 4k mixed rw i think. https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/19333857
on the berohost box hermea agent is actually useful lol, handles the dull maintenance bits so im not glued to ssh

Hi everyone, I am a software developer and homelab enthusiast passionate about lightweight infrastructure, Linux containers, and self-hosting. I first came across LowEndSpirit through references and recommendations across the wider self-hosting and low-end hosting communities while researching minimal server footprints, NAT VPS configurations, and lean Linux deployments.
Outside of messing around with containers, custom routing, and squeezing performance out of budget virtual private servers, my hobbies include tinkering with home network gear, homelab infrastructure, gaming, and working on lightweight open-source utility scripts. I really enjoy the challenge of getting useful services running efficiently without over-allocating hardware resources.

My first computer was bought during high school my family wasn't very well-off financially. It had an LGA 775 motherboard, a Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM I learned a lot from that computer Later I switched to a Xeon system myself and fell in love with it My current development system is Azure VM / Mac / MacBook Air / and my old friend, the E5 2670 v2 processor, 64GB of RAM, x79 system. on the berohost box hermea agent is actually useful lol, handles the dull maintenance bits so im not glued to ssh

I know LES is a great platform for server deals and discussions. I've been actively buying, selling, and playing around with servers for about a year now, mainly hanging out on NodeSeek previously.
I actually discovered LowEndSpirit today through a link mentioning that Shockhosting requires LES verification. After taking a look around the forum, I immediately recognized several familiar providers—I’ve even bought servers from some of them before!

I don't think there's any benefits of non-human members. Internet forums has been thriving because of contributions by human members and having non-human members might be a turn off for current and potential members.
Some join and where never active, thats 99% an AI generated user, because you see same join and active time in first 24h.
