    There's a looking glass recipe on TierHive that you could use with the free credits (or free voucher if you managed to snarf one) to check out the various locations.

  • Looks great and ... almost ... fits my use case.

    I'd like to terminate TLS on my VPS, and have your HAProxy pass traffic by looking at the SNI part of the TLS handshake and then forwarding TCP to my host. Would you consider implementing this?

    Been enjoying TierHive and mostly lurking but I gotta say Hillsboro and Singapore are performing really well, while Tokyo and Frankfurt have been noticeably laggy. Just migrated the same VM to NYC and its working great now. Love it.
    Currently running PHP/Java/Go applications on these nodes, with the database hosted externally.

    Real question: What if I want to deploy more than 255 servers? Will this be a limiting factor for us?

    Right now that's a limit, no one has come close to touch yet.

    In beta we will have team accounts where you can have multiple subnets so that will be the solution.

    My use case, FWIW, would be met with something like

    frontend https
        bind *:443
        mode tcp
        tcp-request inspect-delay 2s
        tcp-request content reject if { req.ssl_ver 3 }
        use_backend backend_name if { req.ssl_sni -i hostname_1 hostname_2 ... }
        use_backend tls_termination_backend if { req.ssl_sni -i hostname_3 hostname_4 ... }

    plus a TCP backend.

    Ideally I'd like either usesrc clientip or if that's not possible, PROXY protocol support, so my VPS can see the original source IP.

    I use this setup in my homelab, and the tcp mode frontend backs on to both direct TCP backends (for TLS termination on end node) and a PROXY protocol backend that routes straight back into HAProxy for TLS termination within HAProxy.
