Introducing KBilling — a self-hosted WHMCS alternative for hosting providers

I’m Asad, a hosting provider and already a member of the LowEndSpirit community. Since I’m working in the hosting industry, I know the problems providers face with billing, automation, support and managing clients.

For the last eight months, my team and I have been working on KBilling, our self-hosted alternative to WHMCS. A few weeks ago, we completed our initial trials, code testing and security reviews, so I thought it was time to introduce it to the LES family.

KBilling includes:

• Client and service management
• Orders, invoices and recurring billing
• Payment gateways
• Hosting provisioning and automation
• Support tickets and knowledgebase
• Domain and server management
• Admin and client dashboards
• API and module support
• Cron automation monitoring
• Secure licensing and updates
• Customizable templates
• Migration tools

Our goal is to give hosting providers a modern billing system with simple licensing, full ownership of their installation and no complicated restrictions.

We are still improving KBilling, and I would really appreciate feedback from other hosting providers. Please let me know which features, modules or payment gateways you would like us to add.

We have completed several internal security reviews but still team is actively working and testing the Portal for finding bugs and reviewing the code, i have also invited Rack911 to perform an independent security audit.

Right now we are using simple logo as shown on our website , however if anyone has a better lgoo idea for kbilling feel free to comment the design/concept if i like it and decided to use it i will pay for the design

Auditing a billing system appears expensive. I wish you success with your product. Auditor price us $180 per hour and $40000 in total for a small module shocked me few months ago.
