[Done] Transfer AX51-NVMe FSN1-DC15

not available anymore

As the title say, I have an AX51-NVMe available in a few days (tue/wed) to transfer out or just gonna cancel it.

It is located in FSN1-DC15 (Falkenstein/Germany), standard offer with no additional hardware or IPs attached. therefore the recurring costs are 59€ monthly plus VAT if applicable...

Just for those who would want to plot chia on it: it seems Hetzner changed their AUP regarding crypto and things related to it are forbidden nowadays. apart from that the NVMe have quite a lot TBW on it already, so no idea how feasible it would be to torture them in that way.

I got it like that in January from another user over at hostballs, smartctl looks perfectly apart from the high TBW and I haven't had any issues, box runs very smoothly and performance is great.
yet I only ran a bigbluebutton server which is not really IO intensive and now the project ended so that's that. if interested I can provide more infos, benchmarks and smartctl output of course, just DM me.

It is paid for till April 27th only, which means the receiver will have to pay for the time from then (that is how Hetzners billing work). because of this I am not looking for any additional money for a transfer.

to be able to transfer/receive a server like that you'll need a account registered with Hetzner already, the rest is fully automated.

  • Here ppl can see pretty big contrast: While most users ask for transfer fee (many time also quite greedy fee calculated to edge), this one not ever. Falzo is good guy and great man/human (y) :+1:

haha, thanks for the warm words. trying to be transparent and to be absolutely clear again: a potential buyer would pay for the days from 27/04 on. even though it's may already and simply because Hetzner does not split invoices.
I am considering this kind of a fee/payoff already but a buyer still saves considerably on the setup fee with that. still should just make it easier in the end for both parties. ;-)

also I have no problem with just cancelling it, just because those servers are not available instantly at Hetzner right now, I thought I'd give the opportunity for someone else in demand.

    last call.

had someone who wanted it, but it seems he lost interest. transfer-token is ready and can be pushed immediately.

if no one wants it, I'll cancel it at midnight (CEST) πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

no, seems no one really wants it - but that's okay...

I am not really willing to offer it in other places πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ or jump through more hoops for ~25 bucks I might spare... as said, I'll wait for tonight and then simply cancel as I can do so any time before the next billing date anyway.
guess there are enough people sitting in Hetzners regular queue waiting to get one and willing to pay the setup fee over there, so it will find a new happy owner either way ;-)

May I suggest you hetzner Marktplatz? You might be able to help someone save cost if thats the idea. Here, the market is more about low end VPS, otherwise this would have gone in a jiffy.

yeah I thought about that for a moment. I think I even have an account there for years now, but was never active... I probably also could have posted over at OGF but nah... rather keep it exclusive 😁

πŸš€ Amazing that nobody wants this! Dirt cheap for what it is. And no setup fee!

I hope everyone gets the servers they want!

it's gone now, hopefully helping a new owner :-)
