This offer is free for 7 days. After the 7 days are up, the server will be taken offline and the plan will be cancelled. The beta period will last for either longer or shorter depending on certain circumstances. Please note that it may take up to a week for your server to be deployed, the 7 day period will start after it is.

We're looking for people to run high RAM programs/applications. You will be notified 1 day before your VM will be removed.

Once this lineup is out, this will not be the official specifications.

UPDATE 8/31/2021:
We've fixed the stability issues and all VM's are now back online.
We've also added 15 more slots for free VPS's. Go get it while you can!
Please note that ordering more than 1 will result in an IP ban. (a little extreme, but we just don't want people to be greedy!)

What are some great examples of high RAM programs? Are we thinking of constantly writing/reading to/from RAM really a lot, or just using a program that stores a lot of data in RAM but maybe doesn't change that data too much? Maybe run memtest repeatedly? Maybe make a RAM file system and compile something? Are we testing using NVMe as RAM like Ant was talking about awhile back?

We're just looking for programs that store a lot of data in RAM but don't change data too much. We're not really looking for people to constantly write/read to/from RAM a lot.
It is sort of using NVMe as RAM, but not entirely. I'll get more into it once the beta period is over. Depending on how the test goes, we may move forward with it!

I’m still working on potential solutions. There’s ~30 VM’s on our VPS-RAM node, and all of them are using a decent amount of I/O.

Before all of the VM’s were added, we were seeing speeds of up to 2 GB/s

I’m still looking into it, I promise.

Unfortunately, we had to cut the beta test short due to some unexpected stability issues. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We're still working on fixing the stability issues, and once they are fixed we may bring these beta test servers back.
