    I don't know much about LXC containers, but can FUSE be enabled on one of these VPS containers like it can with OpenVZ?

  • Free /48 IPv6 Prefix on request

    Is the /48 routed?
    i.e. in a KVM server, the IPv6 address can be used in container or VPN client without setting NDP proxy.

    Sure. We can enable FUSE on one of our special node.

    Yes. It's native IPv6 connection, BGP routed through Internap network via Juniper router.

    It's not something like a tunnel.

    Yes. It's native IPv6 connection, BGP routed through Internap network via Juniper router.

    This does not answer my question.
    Whether IPv6 is routed has nothing to do with whether it's native.

    • routed IPv6 subnet: on your router or host node, each IPv6 subnet has a routing table entry
    • on-link IPv6: your router or host node depends on NDP to locate each individual IPv6 address

    To determine whether a VPS has routed or on-link IPv6: run a Docker container with public IPv6 address, and try to ping this container from outside.

    echo '{ "ipv6": true }' | sudo tee /etc/docker/daemon.json
    sudo systemctl restart docker

    docker network create --ipv6 --subnet=172.26.0.0/16 --subnet=2001:db8:3d22:a951:6b0a:4d78::/80 ipv6exposed
    docker run -it --rm --network ipv6exposed alpine

    If you can ping the container, it's routed IPv6.

    Did i forget to tell you?

    It's routed.
