All I can say is that if you add Japanese nodes then they will be sold out and you don't even have to do any promotional work. Of course, the premise is that its price is attractive enough

Nothing wrong with people choose the nearest location for their VM.

Then we will have MJJ for Asian and 'MJJ' for European. 😂

    Thanked by (1)lemoncube
  • Anything in Africa tbh… especially egypt

Why don't MJJs ask for South Korea location?
    It's faster than Japan.

Hong Kong and Singapore are hit or miss.
Traffic to these locations often goes through Japan anyway.

Did someone manage to get wireguard running already?
Seems like I can't add iptables rules.

iptables v1.8.2 (nf_tables): CHAIN_ADD failed (Device or resource busy): chain INPUT

Edit: Have to use iptables-legacy, works that way.

Did you enable TAP/TUN in the Micronode control panel?

    Yes, of course. Using boringtun.

    cat /dev/net/tun
cat: /dev/net/tun: File descriptor in bad state

    cat /dev/net/tun

    Try this
    mkdir -p /dev/net
    mknod /dev/net/tun c 10 200
    chmod 600 /dev/net/tun

Thank you, but that shouldn't be the problem.
Just rebooted and now it works. =)

I'm a bit ashamed I didn't think to suggest that to start with considering it's half of my job.

Fell into the same trap, enabling TUN before the initial provision doesn't seem to take effect (or gets reset). Re-enabling and rebooting after initial install then solves the problem.

I set this up on my France storage server a week ago & I don't document shit so I was scrambling to remember what I did.

  • hope you guy can provide some apac location, like japan hongkong korea taiwan

  • India would be great. Really want one there.
I'm not sure if there is any nat provider for India.

Just noticed I've hit the wrong thread with that. Sorry @natvps_uk

To contribute something to the topic - mainly uncommon locations around the globe would be nice.
A single one per region would be sufficient I suppose.

    • Australia / NZ, anyone remember the RansomIT NAT boxes down under, back when LES was LES? =)
    • South America - Argentina, Brazil, Chile should offer considerable providers
    • Africa - smth like Nigeria, South Africa probably easier to find
    • Kazakhstan and far east Russia, something like Khabarovsk or Vladivostok. Could find smth. with Gcore there.
    • Asia - Vietnam (GreenCloud?), Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, Republic of China, Kyrgyzstan, India

@Zappie should be able to provide some of those locations in AU/NZ, Chile and South Africa, if I recall correctly.

To find providers in uncommon locations, just take a look what some of the network test sites use:

Amsterdam was planned for the next location although we've used the host for something else...

Come one everyone, give us a location to add next.

Do people want to see the next location in North America or Europe?
