I would do that, if I wasn't living in Singapore. With the law around here, that's a guaranteed way to pay a huge fine or go jail either due to tax evasion or due to copyright infringement...

One of the people I knew got his internet disconnected due to "torrents" and another guy I read about in the news had to pay $5000 (SGD) cause he was seeding torrent for a movie where the company filed a copyright infringement through the Singapore police's online portal with his IP address...

Thank you. I have a question though... How do i pay to a Russian company?
Last time i wanted to buy a domain and hosting from Russia, my payment card was declined due to the NATO/Ukraine/Russia war sanctions.
    I am from the Balkans.

Nah, you can ask people, even on LET a provider was offering it for a few percent commission.
Plus Services do exist for this, since a while, but most of them are a rip off, the commission is to fucking high.

A bunch of them have been posted on LET too.

This free virtual card sounds good, but if i'm not wrong, this is a russian based company also, so not clear for me how can I transfer money to the wallet/virtual card (for example from the EU) if someone have bank cards from the EU only.

You can't directly transfer, you need a service or person or a workaround with something that isn't sanctioned.

    Was mostly joking.

I'd take care with said services though. Most western countries make sanction bypassing a criminal offense. So depending on one's location and ahem views on such matters perhaps not worth it to save a dollar

They could, if they wanted too, like with every transaction you do digital.
I don't use any of these services, I get my RUB directly at exchange rate, no fees.

I used to buy russian stuff because it/was cheap, however if you have to pay 20-30% on top, its not longer cheap.
Plus Providers keep raising prices, for 50RUB, you could get a solid KVM in Moscow.

Right now it costs 75RUB (0.83€) still less than 1€, however if you pay any exchange fees, you probably end up with around 1.20-1.50€ instead of 0.55€ what it used to be.

You used to be able to choose from 100Mbit and 1Gbit with Traffic Cap.
Now its 1Gbit unmetered, but I am sure, if you go beyond the 5TB, they will talk to you, like Hetzner does.

Still 300RUB hike, for this? The Celeron wen't up by 1000.

Can confirm, they don't give a shit about traffic usage anymore. You can even select 1gbit with 300tb cap, proving it's not 5tb anymore.

Is this with Hetzner like per machine or per project or per account?
...they say they give 20TB per virtual machine...
I've never been even near the limit, but, i'd like to know. Some projects are getting large.

Hetzer banned one person for abusing unlimited bandwidth on dedicated servers and now everyone is scared of them. Cloud is fine, if you use more than 20TB of bandwidth, you can just buy more.
