  • First of all thank you for the opportunity to try it for free.

Tried the NordicVM Free Trial VPS, which is actually different from what is shown on the configuration page: there is no ipv6 address provided, the bandwidth is 800M instead of 1G, and the following yabs (can't be done in gb6 mode) :

    Thanks for this fantastic offer.
The service was quickly activated after several minutes since registration.

The only pity is no default IPv6 is assigned.

By the way, it may be noted that the OS is not installed when placing order, but until the service is activated then "open control panel" then select preferred OS template.

Not 100% sure, but I saw an actual offer thread from them earlier today. I didn't check for a provider tag at the time, but assuming they didn't have one, that might've been what caused the ban.

It's a free offer and that was not against the rules.
Also, the member offering it si clearly marked as banned.

The idea behind the provider tags is not to prevent people from advertising, but to minimize the number of (cash-grab) frauds, and to save the forum from getting swarmed by spammy, shady offers.

The idea behind bans is to enforce the rules when other means don't help.
