DomainTools.com discontinuing Domain Monitor service

Dear DomainTools Customer,

DomainTools will be sunsetting our legacy Domain Monitor product on September 30, 2024. This email provides instructions on how to export your Domain Monitor portfolio.

Domain Monitor was the first monitoring product we developed and released and paved the way for our future path into security. It was launched 20 years ago and works exclusively with the original “Big Six” TLDs in existence at the time: .com, .org, .net, .info, .biz, and .us and only looked for domain status changes. Since then, the domain space has exploded to over 1,500 TLDs. In the last year, the original Big Six TLDs accounted for less than 45% of newly registered domains globally.

As we evolve as an industry leader in the security sector, we must focus our efforts and resources on the products and services that provide the most value to the broadest spectrum of customers, such as our Brand, Registrant, Name Server, and IP monitors, as well as our Enterprise threat intelligence solutions such as Iris Detect and Iris Investigate.

As such, we will be sunsetting the Domain Monitor product as of September 30, 2024. You can export your Domain Monitor portfolio by selecting the download button (pictured below) from the Domain Monitor dashboard if needed for future use.

If there are more than 2,000 domains in a portfolio, it will be split into multiple files.

Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.

Best regards,

DomainTools Team
