Shared hosting. Do you add list of predefined CAA's or "allow all" approach?
I don't think shared hosting is in a position to decide what CAA records to add. Only the customer can decide if they wish to opt-in for this security mechanism.

you can use a cert signed by anyone, its up to the client to have such CA certificate in place/trusted
