NetDynamics Hardware and Software Failure

NetDynamics:

I am writing to inform you about a critical incident that occurred today affecting our backup storage service in Finland only.
Earlier today, our backup server in Finland experienced both a software and a hardware failure. As a result, we are in the process of migrating to a new backup server. Our technical team is working diligently to restore the data; however, we cannot guarantee full data recovery at this time.
To ensure continuity of service, we can provide you with access to a new backup server. If you have your own backups, you will be able to upload them to the new server immediately. In case you don't have your own backups, then please download your data immediately because we cannot guarantee for how long they will remain intact.
We understand the importance of the data we manage for you and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please rest assured that we are taking all necessary measures to resolve this issue as swiftly as possible.
Also, because of this incident, we will not offer Nextcloud anymore. We will keep up providing our stable backup storage services (without the experimental Nextcloud system).
If you have any questions or need assistance with the new server setup, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in our services.

NetDynamics:

At this point it is vital to contact us and let us know:
1. Do you have backups of your data or not? Have you already started downloading your data to be on the safe side?
2. Do you want us to try to migrate your data in another backup server of ours?
** In case we don't have a reply from you within 3 days (and hopefully the server will not crash until then), the server will be terminated and all data will be lost.**
Please contact us immediately start scheduling the restoration plan.
In any case, we are not responsible for any possible data loss as per our TOS.

Basically, if you use NetDynamics for their backup services, and happen to miss an email for 3 days, then

the server will be terminated and all data will be lost

They offer upto 10TB so downloading the 10TB might not even be possible - that is even if the server works in those 3 days.

☰ Probably the best Black Friday storage offersAMD EPYC VDSes with NVMe slices (ref) from 250GB to 4TB and 500GB–10TB SAN disk. / Big HDD storage VPSes (ref) from $2.42/month per TB. / Storage dedis and hybrid VPS (SSD + HDD) are there as well.
