Suggestions for low-end Canadian VPS?

Anyone have any suggestions for a VPS provider in Canada that has provided good service at a low-end price? Preferably $10-$20/year, bandwidth is the only real concern (looking for a wireguard node), minimum of 1TB/mo but preferably 2TB/mo. Specific location is not super important, Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, wherever.

(And I do want IPv4, not a NAT situation...have had too many issues with those.)

    I miss Vortexnode

  • Ask Servarica - Montreal City (not OVH Firewood DC), quite inexpensive (especially special deals), works fine.

Happy customer at AlexHost, AxusHost, Bakker-IT, Host-C, Ionos, Veesp + NanoKVM ftw.

That's a good idea, I should watch for their sales threads more carefully! I remember being a bit confused by the BF one with all the slice configurations, lol, but that's more storage focused stuff anyway.

Although seldomly mentioned around these parts, LunaNode in Toronto is an excellent provider. Unfortunately their pricing is a bit higher than your requested price.

Yeah, definitely a bit out of my price range, lol. But always good to hear about another provider that I'm not familiar with! Mayhaps they will have a sale to watch for.

Yep they were my first thought. I'll call them premium.

  • Checkout SolidSeoVPS , they have a toronto location and for BF it was available for $20

  • I have a Canadian node coming online soon but you don't want NAT.

The Yeti has left the building.

Depends. TBH I'm just reluctant because I've had a lot of problems with the NAT provider I've used, especially with the Canadian node ironically. It's for a wireguard node so it should work fine in theory just with a different port but...meh.

  • Serarica is not friendly, my vps stopped for 2 weeks, couldn't start
