[FREE Monitoring] fivenines.io – 5 servers @ 60 s interval, forever 🔥

Hey LES 👋

I’ve been lurking here for a few months, building a lightweight uptime‑and‑metrics platform called fivenines.io. We’re giving away five 60‑second checks + unlimited alerts, free forever, no credit‑card needed.

What you get for $0:

  • 5 servers monitored @60s interval
  • 5 cron jobs monitored
  • Unlimited alerts on server uptime
  • Unlimited alerts on server metrics
  • Unlimited alerts on server ports
  • Unlimited e‑mail, Telegram & Slack notifications
  • Pre-defined dashboards & Grafana‑style dashboards (shareable publicly)

Optional LES bonus

If you later need faster intervals or more checks, DM me code LES‑MONTH and I’ll drop one month of any paid pack on your account (no card required to activate the credit). Totally optional – the 5‑server tier stays free even if you never upgrade.

Quick start

Sign up → https://fivenines.io (Github OAuth or e‑mail)

Connect your first server (takes ≈ 30 s)

Grab metrics & alert away 🚀

FAQ

Is the free plan really forever? – Yes. No catch, no downgrade threats.

What happens after the one‑month credit? – You choose: add a paid pack at $5 or drop back to the free tier.

Invite / refer programme? – Not yet; focusing on core features first.

Cheers,
— Seb @ fivenines.io (founder)

Mods: this is a permanent free tier, so I’ve posted in “Free Offers & Stuff”. Please let me know if I should move it elsewhere.

    Some ideas:

    1. Increase the number of free tier to 10 for LES members if possible. Make members here feel a bit special.
    2. Make sure the confirmation email does not go to spam. Yahoo sees the registration email as spam for some reason.
    3. Add 2FA - highly needed in this era of economic warfare.
    4. In Settings page, add a section "Run the following command to uninstall the agent" - for people who don't visit GitHub.
    5. Don't force members to immediately connect a server after registration. It is better to have a button like "Add a Server". Maybe someone wants to explore your client area a bit, before adding a server.
    6. ID seems to be generated randomly. Maybe you could allow people to pick their own username and login with that. As it stands it is just some random useless info for customer.
    7. Support is provided by chat only? Maybe tickets are a better idea, for those moments when Intercom goes belly up.

Got stuck with it since early 2000s. I have domain prepared on MXRoute, I am ready to migrate, but for some reason I just did not make time to do it.

Expect this mail migration to take 5-7 years, unless something extraordinary happens.
