I was tricked by this last month. Saw "11.88€ yearly" and "No gimmicks." Should have known "no gimmicks" means "absolutely yes gimmicks" lol.
Ended up being $13.57 after $0.52 credit card fee for first year, then will be $45.35 per year after that for a 1-1.5-10 (GB6 score 396). I know it's my fault for not reading the offer with a microscope and that I can cancel after the first year but I prefer to keep my VPS's for many years.
Also, I feel another hidden gimmick besides the wording "yearly" and "per year", is that a deal like this banks on people forgetting by next year that the price will increase by 330% and will let it auto-renew by mistake.
Wouldn't you rather retain customers for a long time rather than attract short-term customers that are more prone to abusing the VPS for the limited time they have it?
