NATVPS Locations - Which location do you want to see next?
Hello all!
Off the back of the success of the £2 per year VPS' I'm tempted to continue to offer these as a service - the sale was exactly that, a sale to use up remaining resources on older less active nodes although I think this is something that we can offer going forward.
I may even branch outside of the UK for these and I'm curious what location people would like to potentially see next.
If this is something that I offer the price will remain the same per location although there is potential for Bandwidth and resources to differ per region.

Perth would be exotic.
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
I vote for European territories -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe#List_of_states_and_territories , especially 'exotic' or 'rare to see' locations in NAT field.
Now we already had UK, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey*, Norway, Poland, Romania in NAT from various providers, hope to see something different
NZ = East .au
Any chance to add Singapore ?
EU → Italy

Agree - Finland would be nice. But not from Hetzner, some of those are already around.
Also @natvps_uk why limit to one single IPv6 address?
Alternatively something around Austria, Slovenia, Hungary.
Singapore
Finland could be an option!
The IPv6 limitation isn't by choice, ideally we'd provide a /64 to each VPS although the cost of the IPs and the setup charges from the DC would simply not be profitable. If I rented a /48 it would push the price up to around £4 per year for a 256MB VPS.
I can assign additional IPs at no cost although I'm unable to assign a subnet larger than a /128. Even though IPv6 is becoming more popular the majority of my customers use NAT anyway and most customers use the proxy service for port 80/443.
Please be aware that this is only a limitation of the Rackspace DC1 nodes, other locations do no have the same limitation and ideally the next location will have a larger IPv6 space.
Singapore please
Spain

Belgium 🇧🇪
Sweden - Norway - Finland
Poland or Netherlands would be nice.
Having done some general research on internet censorship in India, most networks are connected to Airtel which applies the same traffic rules for their home customers and their data center customers; thus VPNs are pointless to get around blocked websites in the country. (This is, by no means, unique; Russia and China do the same IIRC.)
I would very much like Italy.
Also what are peoples thoughts on HDD vs SSD?
On such a low price deal SSD/NVME options are limited but possible. It is likely that I could only offer 2-3gb of ssd/nvme storage for the cost although I can do 10-20gb HDD for the same price.
Finland is kind of useless because there is already Hetzner Cloud there. It's maybe of more interest if it is not in the Hetzner DC. Norway has been useful to me in the past. Idk if it is still available from anyone. Other than that, idk. For a personal web site or VPN, I'd ideally want western US, but am currently on a non-nat vps that is working ok and is cheap enough for my purposes.
+1, if not Hetzner in Finland.
Hong Kong
Japan

I want following locations:
Budget is £3 per quarter for each 256 MB RAM container.
Accepting submissions for IPv6 less than /64 Hall of Incompetence.
It's not all about you
JP nat vps <£4

Mongolia or Hawaii would be truly exotic.
