For customer it might be sweet, but not for the provider. Let's just say it is that kind of easter egg that can put a provider in bankruptcy.
The only kind I can think of that can cause a provider to be placed in bankruptcy is security issues. Providers can choose not to honor any other pricing errors.

True. Biggest concern is always security. However nowadays even bad reviews can really damage reputation a provider at the start of business precisely when they need income to rise.
I think I found what you found, interesting that a lot of providers miss out stuff like this. I used to actively hunt and report to providers on OGF but sadly doesnt have much time nowadays
食之无味 弃之可惜 - Too arduous to relish, too wasteful to discard.
I could use it, it is extremely tempting. However, I already sent message to @crunchbits about this. I considered this the right thing to do.
I try to be a better man today then I was yesterday.

Thanks for the heads up @root. It's missed because we don't do triennial payments except (just due to a bunch of requests) on 1 product stack: storage. IP addons defaulted to a 0 price there for the 3-year. Obviously, while maybe someone would find and exploit it I wouldn't hold us to some ridiculous deal achieved via an exploit/error that would jeopardize the business. The addon IPv4 are already limited to 10 specifically just as a "catch-all" just in case even though we'd allow more than that on a VM with a ticket/manual add-on.
That being said, you can have 10 IPv4 with your triennial storage order @root

at this time. Once things settle down your prizes will be taken care of
I m starting to feel it is my fault for putting @crunchbits into a restless maintenance mode. It all went quiet ever since i found that bug which generated an offer too crazy even for @crunchbits to provide - therefore I guess other clients already exploited this bug using automated provisioning and generated some kind of business loss which needed to be handled manually.
I don't know, it's all a wild guess. I hope I am wrong and people are not greedy and don't exploit such bugs.

Be patient, maybe @crunchbits will add more freebies for the wait, hahah!
Any freebie is highly appreciated, especially within a low-end community; however nothing has been given so far. It has been one month since winners were announced on 16th of September. Only @crunchbits can offer more information about what is going on, even though their website had a small glitch and some maintenance during the past month.
My shitty excuses: Trip overseas checking out all the POPs in 4 different countries (plus some personal time), had some personal device security concerns which meant certain pieces of necessary information/access re: event winners were not available to even hand off to another team member, ended up getting sick while traveling, and of course came back just in time for some unrelated fires to put out. I'll be responding to DM's/getting the account credit stuff (and other winner stuff) sorted over the next 48hrs. Pie and skorupion definitely tried to handle it for everyone, but I didn't have the confirmed list & information to give them and I apologize for the delay.

I just discovered a huge bug on Crunchbits website. I think I should report this to @crunchbits before it is exploited.
Stop the planet! I wish to get off!
Maybe that's an easter egg?
