thank god you can rely on the community here. i have now transferred my hard-earned finnmark to another provider. https://www.worldstream.com is really very stable.
Some general statements for both sides of community:
LES isn't LET, we don't ban people just cause they're banned on LET
We discourage trashing offer posts just "for the sake of it" and encourage customers to leave their own reviews (although much of the discussion here is justified IMO)
Mods are people with lives too, and flagging posts for no real reason is a bit shitty, try to only flag stuff with substance
Do I personally approve of this brand? No
Do I see any legitimate reason to ban them right now? It's debatable, but not really
Do I see them continuing with posting offers? I doubt it

No offence but like in this case it’s known that the provider isn’t reliable, shouldn’t some proactive actions be taken?
I guess this comment with the rule didn’t age well either.
I remember one of the providers here making a post for a free three month vps. I asked for the renewal pricing and they gave me a number. I posted that in the thread. One of the mods deleted those and moved it to cess pit since the offer was for a free vps only.
It’s the old saying in my country - just because the pigeon decides to close its eyes doesn’t mean the cat isn’t about to fucking pounce and eat it.

It's a buyer beware market. If a host breaks a rule, actions are enforced. If you believe a rule has been broken, report it.
Like I said, we probably don't need to take action - they likely aren't going to return to posting offers.

At least not under CH name. They'll probably buy a second hand domain and open a new hosting company pretending to be a old and reliable host...
And @TheDP is to blame for the sale of the domain!

They haven't misbehaved here, although it's just a matter of time.
No hostname left!
Proud moment.
Nodeseek is not taking their BS either.
I'm assuming the ban was (at least partially) for paying people to leave 5* TrustPilot reviews, more than specific on-forum misbehaviour.
Oh, his forum misbehavior was certainly a factor. He was spamming rabidly and insulting other members.

Good choice, only downside is price increases sometimes. Unless you have a contract with them.
Lmao
kinda bored recently
money doesn't matter. finnmark are constantly on the rise.

Am I late for the party? Beating a dead rat could not be more fun 😊

Never make the same mistake twice. There are so many new ones to make.
It’s OK if you disagree with me. I can’t force you to be right.
