Minor sidetracking of the topic, just wonder is their any plans in the future to offer VPS hosted at other Clouvider location such as New York or LA.

Yes although I don't have any specific timelines right now.
Not a specific one it is usually case by case basis, there may be certain reasons upgrading is not possible e.g. you took a rock bottom price spacial offer that was created against a specific node that was imbalanced or in some cases there may be a small fee added to cover fees and time for the manual work etc.

How about something with 4 GB RAM? Or the 6 GB custom offer above in the UK? Happy to pay a year to get the best deal.
my pocket only fits 25-40€/year .... off course exceptions happen e.g : 16GB RAM like those HH ones. This year i am ramping down "let expire" most of my supposed to be tests/hobby projects. Lets see if Ant does it again soon
My pocket used to only fit 1GB $4~16/year, of course exceptions happen e.g. 24GB RAM like the Oracle Cloud ones.
Most of my servers belong to a single giant hobby project, with overlay routing between them.
I ran out of RAM on one machine last weekend after adding three new containers.
I hope Ant does the half off clearance sale again, so that I can get a 2GB for $30/year.
I also need to start paying attention to the storage volume, as those 10GB little disks can barely fit any video content.

I have checked the stock it is not going to happen, sorry, all 'irregular' nodes (ones that have been filled with an odd disk use/ram ratio) are still full from the last sales round.
Generally, when you see a 50% off on a specific plan it is because of this. just doing general 50% off sales regularly is not good for business in the long run
I usually check once a month though so you never know. churn can be unpredictable.
