(Quote) 2nd-world, at best. Think mass ethnic cleansing of indigenous people - probably why it's supported (not just ignored) elsewhere. :-/ Meanwhile, back at the ranch; missing the wall of text, nearly. :) Gives me something to read over a cuppy.

'#4 is correct: USA. Certainly act that way with S. American countries having better sensibilities etc. :/

San Jose beta testing is complete. Thank you for testing this location though we have decided not to continue using this provider. As this was stated from the outset that this location is a beta test, then no compensation will be forthcoming. This l…

Another node in a mess - looks like the node is flapping for CHIZ035. That's me up to three problematic locations. :'( Looks like my cardiograph, arrhythmia included! (Image)
-
At least there's a possibility of continuing - hope that's not just wishful thinking. :)
-
(Quote) Yep, this is the problem. The English (not UK) are just as bad with their brought instead of bought and the pronunciation of "..ng" - example: borinG_uh_. :'( It becomes "the norm", through default use - not good as part…

(Quote) Before you criticise others so much, you should get your own (American) English sorted out! Your sig: "Never make the same mistake twice." You repeatedly misuse then instead of than!

(Quote) It seems that it's too difficult for some to read just a few posts above, before they post! :/

Y'all upset 'im and he's gone on a sabbatical to Trinidad, or somethin'. [Edit] Status is back [Edit2] I'm starting a collection :'( OKL inbound fault and SJC (aka CHIZ001) inaccessible.
-
Yup; had been a lot of Load spikes earlier. In other news: "https://status.virm.ac/ might have a temporary problem or .."
-
@bikegremlin I must be too perverted, or something.. "Video unavailable The uploader has not made this video available in your country".

(Quote) ..and one more closer to a ban hammer? :o

Crazy amount of inbound port scanning going on at OKC. :-s
-
@imok FO!

@Virmach outbound from MIAZ015 (now Oklahoma allegedly?) on 193.58.147.0/24, VM id=721708 is broken.

There's a bit of coincidence that the HostSlick avatar says/looks like "lost"? :s
-
(Quote) Says it all, really.

Blended - yuk! Single Malt, every time. ;-)

Server Location? * United States. Ok, so that's kinda nebulous! :s (Of course, I sort of already know it's the MJJ-fest location.)
-
I had read the FAQ; I think that has been added later. This could help, A LOT. https://github.com/Aetherinox/csf-firewall
-
It seems that APF+BFD/fail2ban are the prime candidates, though are they up to date? A search hasn't found anything with the CSF functionality, so far.
-
Nightmare! I use it "across the board". :'( Open to suggestions for a free alternative, as it is easy/quick to use from the GUI and the command line ain't that shabby too.
-
Not bad, for a 12.5" screen. :) Prefer my slightly lighter 13.3" Tosh Z930 though. ;-)
-
Still haven't got a use for mine, due to not being able to boot an ISO/successfully boot netboot.xyz I pop back into the site whenever I remember, in the forlorn hope that something has changed. :(
-
(Quote) Yeah, during the course of the "outage" (that was the effect!), the graphs were blank during that time period.
-
@VirMach Downtime: 1 hr 24 min https://status.virm.ac/ showed the outage - not loading just now. :/ (Now back, displaying nearly flat lines, for the duration.) https://ibb.co/JjtjDrgQ

Whole of SJ fubar'ed an hour ago. :(
-
Anyone else with a San jose server down?
-
I'll take the dregs: Any CPU with H/W virtualisation, 8GB RAM, 500GB (whatever) and /29, for a cut-price deal. :p
-
(Quote) I hate when I 'lose' a feline friend. :'( Condolences.
-
Good to finally see imok talking technical and not just shit.
-
From elsewhere, I miss my low-end 2CPU/8GB/500GB/29 dedicated server @$18/month. :'( Just saying.
-
Internal disk #1 is unable to configure for SATA.
-
$62/year - now that IS budget friendly! :# Clickbait!
