How does the 'murican 5th amendment go? [Edit]Mason is YABS God. Simples. :) [/EDIT] In other news: I finally got around to changing the timezone on the AMS VPS. And, DALZ to CHIZ didn't work. :)

@Mason You've got a hammer; you know you want to. :p

(Quote) Did I miss something? Is Chicago seen as an OK location these days; I thought migrations away were going to happen? (My CHIZ001 has been fine, touch wood.)

(Quote) You have quoted me totally out of context. Are you a journalist? Your lack of comprehension is obvious, as is your trolling. Could be time for a mod to step in?

This forum prides itself on a different attitude, where I believe, just moaning rather than seeing a bigger picture, is frowned upon. I could well be wrong. :| (There's @vyas patiently waiting a Transfer from me, that's been paid for, wee…

AMS had been stable for many weeks. Looks as though it was a network thing.. (Quote) Hmm, need to update that timezone! It's 02:15 here. zzzzz

^ Says it all, really.

^ Did you really have to quote the whole thing? :|

(Quote) Thanks for the heads up - hopefully will stay up this time. ;) That's 12/12 VPS now (- likely due to distance from China). That just leaves: * @vyas to get his Transfer * Missing additional two IP addresses on one VPS <-- have to …

I've set the 8-core C2750 to be cancelled at end of billing period. Too slow. Strangely, my cheapo Scaleway 2-core Atom runs OK with Nextcloud. Of course it's not fast but doesn't need to be. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained…
-
Jeez, these Atoms are slooooow. I've given 4cores@75% on the C2750 to a KVM running Nextcloud. It's getting maxed out loads and making me very sleepy. zzzz. It makes me wonder if the dual core i3-530 would be better, with the KVM running o…

^ That's close to the results that I got, though my network speed approached 1Gb/s, rather than exceeded it. I didn't complete the geekbench. My server's being hammered just now, syncing datastores from the existing PBS.

LOL. IF I've planned this right, I'll end up with the three servers costing less than the single UnRealServer(s), that leapt from $12.50 to $35/month! Albeit missing a couple of additional IPs that I may add later. So, aye, a spending spr…

This thread (amongst other things) prompted me to buy more STUFF! :o Grabbed from OneProvider: 1 x Atom 8core, to replace the (much loved) UnReal server that nearly trebled in monthly cost. 1 x Atom 2core, to replace an existing existing one, due …
