I'm in favor of both ads & sponsorship. But ads should be non-flashy/non-tracking. sponsors would get ad-free experience. Please don't charge users/providers. That's just something toxic community would do behind the curtain. I also agree that w…

(Quote) Unless it does the opposite. Lazy loading and Fade-in effect is not the same thing. When I scroll down, I want to see the content immediately, why I have to wait for 0.5 seconds to complete the animation? If it had anything to do with networ…

If you want to block more than ads, try umatrix. It gives you much more control over which connection and resource to allow. My mobile internet is still in 2000 era, so disabling all the third party resources for eye candy reasons lets me browse the…

(Quote) The challenge is, who will fight the battle? (Quote) and, none of them are that much stable to use in server env. (correct me if I am wrong)

To me, it is too early to take a decision. CL is another company, but I am curious with their "we will make our build system & tools opensource" promise. If it is done correctly, even other fork can take advantage of it. Cross-contrib…

(Quote) Partly misleading, Greg Kurtzer didn't sell CentOS to RH, he left before the deal. (Quote) source: https://gmkurtzer.github.io/ (Quote) source: https://blog.centos.org/2019/03/greg-kurtzer-centos-founder/
