(Quote) Stackable is/was on Appsumo lifetime deals :)

(Quote) Nicely put. There are different use cases for all of these and I think it always comes down what works out best for you. Glad to hear Elementor works nice with Blocksy, though. Even the Elementor "free" edition should be able to do…

(Quote) I hear you. For designs you could have a look at MicroThemer/YellowPencil. Really cool tools :) Yeah, Elementor is probably the "best" page builder right now in terms of compatibility with other themes and features. Divi Builder o…

(Quote) Have a look at Envato Elements, DepositPhotos (grab some 100 downloads for 100€ deal on Appsumo), YAYImages (Appsumo 69$, 1000 download credits), VectorGrove and others :)

(Quote) Likewise, I feel they are drifting away from intuitivity trying to add all features and getting more complicated for the end user by the second. Also more bloated. Imho Gutenberg block builders and a theme like Blocksy/Generate Press are way…

(Quote) Fair enough. Like I said, for personal projects this may very well be finde (on discount) but for commercial use for clients I'd rather use different services. The content provided is good, regardless.

(Quote) I definitely agree Divi could have handled some things differently. It can be very annoying sometimes to get the design you want. Not necessarily, because you don't know the CSS code, but because there are just so many custom CSS fields…

(Quote) Probably that is the case. Still, leaves a sour taste. Regardless, with Divi they are probably the biggest page builder out there and they certainly offer lots of features. So, if it fits your need (esp only few websites) it might just be wo…

(Quote) Yeah, it is probably among the market leader but recently changed licensing and screwed over even existing clients (iirc) , so gonna stay away for now. Also, these days, I use either Divi or a good theme and a nice block builder :) Not sayi…

(Quote) That's my man :D

(Quote) Yeah, for personal projects it should be okay with the premium license, I guess :) Especially presentations and the like. For commercial or frequent use I'd feel too limited by the terms. Wouldn't pay more than that either :P I ag…

Press F for respect.

@Lee In general, I liked the resources from Freepik and Flaticon but their licensing imho just is not worth it for me. If they didn't change that you can use one graphic only in a single project (not in multiple projects) which can be very lim…

(Quote) Renewal prices can be quite the surprisesurprise at HM😅 For now, I am okay with my renewal rate (reseller basic) but let's see for how long.

(Quote) Interesting, I'll remember to have a look every now and then. In the end, I ended up liking Vultr more than DO, however currently using Lunanode for hourly billled vps :)

(Quote) Awesome gesture, mate! :)

Some good offers! Thanks for sharing mate :)

(Quote) Hey there. I htink I never asked them to do this so can't comment on that, sorry. When I last had service with them, I think I used LXC. for virtualization. But it's been a while so can't put my finger on it. I haven't re…

(Quote) This. This comes up in basically any Contabo Thread. Just open a ticket/contact them to solve this :)

(Quote) Those were the worst lol... Damn.. Ouch :/

I think it may have very well been Strato. When I was 8 and wanted to host my own gameserver my dad ordered a VPS for me from Strato. He was happy that I wanted to learn about computers (he worked as a sysadmin) and helped me out a bit.

(Quote) How did I miss this?! Love your german guys @Mason @Not_Oles

(Quote) I like that phrase :)

(Quote) Last time I tested the WordPress Backup Plugin they recommend for Webdav, the plugin didn't work. So right now Updraft to GDrive and GDrive to Koofr :)
-
(Quote) Fair enough. Might have to opt for Updraft/AIO WP again :D
-
(Quote) They should tell people upfront and have them remove the backup jobs manually. Also, they don't allow you to run backup plugins of WordPress (e.g. Updraft, AIO WP...) in the TOS (probably, because they do have their own backup tool, tha…

(Quote) @SGraf and @StuderSolutions use ApisCP for their shared hosting. If you wanna try the panel in action, have a look :)

Damn, not liking this very much. That is, if even backups to remote locations count. This way only full account backups could be done to have it for all accounts on reseller :/
