(Quote) I'm on the fantastic BF2018 deal of $30/3yr for 100gb + unlim domains/accounts, and yeah I don't think anyone is gonna beat that, I'll be using it as long as mxroute is around. It's definitely more space than I need, but it means I can do em…

(Quote) Mine isn't THAT bad, but it does seem like some network issues have popped up. When I checked this morning after it came up everything was normal on the network, latency looked good across the board on ping.pe and was easily able to max out …

(Quote) Ooof. I've been tempted to colo something myself so many times, but then it feels like every single person I know with firsthand experience has these kind of issues, and I just don't think I could deal with it.

(Quote) Looks like it's back. Uptime matches up with when I clicked reboot in the panel to confirm the server wasn't hung, so it looks like panel controls were functional at the time. @rpollestad any luck with yours? I'm going to go ahead and close …

(Quote) Yep, no change here, seems like I'm just unlucky this time. I'm sure it'll get sorted out.

(Quote) Opened one.

(Quote) Not just you, mine seems down as well.
-
(Quote) Of course :) Though, I'm really overestimating what I'll use here, I likely don't need more than 2tb I just want to make sure I'm not leaving a beefy plan with anemic bandwidth and end up regretting it later.

I don't think you're likely to find any ryzen 7000 offers in the low-end yet, they're still extremely new and kinda pricey on top of being HOT. If you're set on a 7950x or 7000 in general, you're going to end up paying a premium.

(Quote) Same, I got excited and clicked order before reading the rest of the thread, only to get the out of stock. Oh well, as soon as it goes live I know what I'm getting: (Image)

(Quote) I'd definitely pay a one-time setup to get on a 10Gbps node, I'd prefer the one-time vs extra on the recurring but I'd be willing to pay a small amount more recurring instead if that's what you needed to do to make it happen.

(Quote) Yeah that's a steal considering I wanted 8 CPU based on the old intel hardware being slow, I think a cap of 6 is more than reasonable. I'll definitely be picking something up on the higher end when you put this up.

(Quote) Is it possible to do some kind of proportional setup fee? I feel like $10 for the lower plans is pretty fair, but it really feels like you should be charging more than $10 for some of the top plans, 20tb of bw in tokyo has the potential to g…

(Quote) Of course, if you make VirMach actually remove the one that I technically lost to the wheel, the ghost of my service will haunt you forever.

(Quote) I don't know that I've seen anyone comment on this, so I thought I'd start in. In general, things feel relatively stable right now, my dedi has been rock solid with great networking, and I've currently got zero VPSs that are down, out of 18.…

(Quote) Mass quoting everyone who mentioned it, looks like Add Funds is working again, I just added $50 and had no problems with a card payment.
-
(Quote) Oh, VirMach checked into my account and said that it was a bug and they'd have a dev address it, so I doubt it's on purpose. I'm sure getting paid is fairly high on the priority list so I'd bet it won't stay bugged for long.
-
Hmm, is there something busted with Add Funds or is it just me? Just getting this: (Image) It's that time of year where my BF invoices start getting generated, figured I'd just add enough to cover them all as they generate, but ran into this.

(Quote) Most of the JP storage accounts were delivered, all of the 250gb plans were and plenty of others to finish filling the server, including my 2tb. Pretty sure refunds were offered to any who asked for them, and if you didn't open a ticket to a…

(Quote) This is what a crackdown on scalpers looks like. All accounts that the scalpers have sold to someone else need to be suspended, because one way to hurt a scalper is to make no one want to do business with them again. An easy way to do this i…

(Quote) That's honestly way more generous than I would've expected, and if no one actually takes you up on this, I'd think that the entire scalper's market is basically unsalvageable. How do you convert people that would rather pay a scalper $30+ th…

(Quote) Really only helpful if you're reinstalling, I don't believe new services will have cpu passthrough / vm-x enabled from the get-go, they certainly haven't been enabled on new services in the past.

(Quote) Doesn't seem to, single threaded GB5 performance is within 5-10% of one with a 5900x, close enough I'd call that a margin of error considering various other people on the node. Clock speed matches the known 5900x one as well, so I'm going to…

(Quote) Installing from ISO will leave you with whatever AES/CPU passthrough/etc that was set from the previous template, before Ryzen the suggestion was to install debian 8 to get the right flags set and then do an ISO install to get the OS of your…
