(Quote) That's the guy, @jab. The format "$10 / month (yearly)" is a technical limitation of having all prices annualized and normalized monthly. Some providers only offer monthly prices, some only quarterly, some yearly. For simplicity, a…

(Quote) It's a quote as you say. A quote! He said those words himself, because IT'S A QUOTE! And those words are something like: "I promote a lot of affiliated summer hosts, buyers shall do their due diligence". Jesus it cannot be misread.

(Quote) Papa Oles would love to spank me until my butt is all nice and red, cooked and Crunchy. They love red in family. Nothing binds a family more than American dollars.

(Quote) Someone pranked me! Who changed the post title!? Edit: fixed. I must have pranked myself, between my impossibly slow 50Kbs LTE modem, my broken browser cache and my buggy KDE3 clipboard it's hard to keep up.

(Quote) He definitely forgot. If he had remembered that in December he made up the story that he had 3 power lines, today he would not had written that the second line is being installed on a few servers, and the rest remain with one line. Boooh ba…

Back in December we had 3 lines of emergency power. Not one ladies and gentlemen but THREE at the price of a coffee. There should be twenty lines by now if the bullshit increased monotonically with time. Best data center in the country. Probably fo…

I would go with FTP over VPN. No file locks, race conditions, double-mounted filesystems, no IPv6, no hassle. With a 1 megabyte kernel the NSA wouldn't have space to fit in comfy.

(Quote) I'll suggest that to the doctor.

(Quote) Okay but with the AI answering on the forum it's more fun, maybe leave it running overnight, it will lift a lot of work from you. Good for branding too.

@c1vhosting, I have a question. Why would I go to the bathroom waiting for Emacs on the VPS? Is it possible I am incontinent?

(Quote) It used to take 20 seconds to open Emacs. I would go to the bathroom waiting for Emacs. (Quote) Ahah there's no human at the wheel.

I don't think @AezaHost ever ever ever answered one of my questions. Ever. Good! 👍

(Quote) Who's the protectionist mafioso? And coming down to terms that increase the chances of being terminated in both continents isn't part of the same plot?

I can't login anymore using my username/password :s what happened Never mind, it is C-Servers that trashed my login, not Host-C. Oh my I'm getting crazy :#

TikTok is good too. Upload videos to TikTok if you don't want me to ever see them.

@host_c: last time I tried ZFS for linux, with spinning disks it had about 3 times less throughput than mdraid during regular use. But I may start using it anyway in place of mdraid, as it has its "built-in" device mapper that simplifies i…

(Quote) yes (Quote) yes (Quote) boh no idea. Why you ask?

Ext4 on mdraid raid 1 takes 6 hours to add one disk to a 2TB pool. I tried ZFS on linux several years ago but performance was pathetic.

At that price: HostBrr — $25 / year 1 Intel Cores (shared) 1000 MB RAM 1000 GB HDD 3000 GB/month bandwidth 1.0 Gbps port speed IPv4 (NAT) + IPv6 Germany Or with the 2GB RAM add-on on the same service: HostBrr — $39 / year 1 Intel Cores (shared) 2…

(Quote) It's not important and I don't mind, but IMHO the claims of tier 3 DC, proprietary DC, largest DC in the region, world class network, etc reach beyond mere pompous advertisement when people still wonder if there is a DC at all. Check the def…

I found out that Mzungu means white man. Wikipedia says it means "wanderer" but in practice it's used to mean white man. No idea how this came to mind. newtork is fast. r u there?

(Quote) Thanks! :3 It was actually ambiguous without a priori information. Will re-crawl ... soon™. (it's gonna take a few hours because my computer is overloaded)

@myself: thank you for your feedback, your /ignore time has been doubled =)

It's getting tough dealing with 200-character long regexes. Like, I would rather just vomit on those. However, to ameliorate the pony's malaise (not to be confused with Malaysia, check that regex, pony) he recommended me to: (Quote) Because otherw…

You close all the ports, only leave tcp 22 open for convenience, and then you get: * backdoored SSH via liblzma * a malloc in openssh signal handler that only an cretin could write without malice * IPv6 localhost spoofing permitted by the kernel, a…

@servarica_hani: Thanks for updating the product pages, I can properly parse the bandwidth now. There is still lack of clarity about what CPUs are used; take this service from https://clients.servarica.com/store/nvme-plans: * 2 Shared CPU cores * …

@sh97 told me to meet him behind the school after dark :bawling: :bawling:

(Quote) The purpose of that is to exclude from the search results basically anything that @sh97 recommends =) (I have to index some crap providers solely to not give him an edge)
